My insurance was covering $150, which I felt should have been more than reasonable for an appointment that was simply to speak with the doctor about my results. No additional testing or procedures were scheduled. I even asked if a Zoom or virtual appointment was an option, but I was told they do not offer that. I then asked if they could simply bill the remaining balance to my insurance company, but I was told that was not their policy. Without paying the difference upfront, they would not see me. If it costs $350 out of pocket just to have a conversation with the doctor about an abnormal Pap result, I can only imagine what the cost would be for the actual testing and procedures. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that the priority was payment rather than patient care. I have already scheduled an appointment with another office, and they confirmed that they do not have this same policy. I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you choose to go here, be prepared to open your wallet or you will not be seen.

Luckily my request was minimal, and it was still a nightmare. I was in need of a script that I discussed with my APRN, at my first appointment. When I called the office the following week to follow up on getting a script, it took multiple calls from me to the office and 3 weeks for her to get back to me. When I called for a refill 3 months later, I was informed I needed to make a follow up appt. to get it refilled. I was never told this when it was prescribed to me and I could not get a refill. The worst part of this review is I was upset with the lack of communcation from the start with my provider. One week later I received a letter saying my provider was releasing me from her care. Instead of the provider calling me and discussing the protocol, she dismissed me placing the blame on the me, the patient. Such an unprofessional way to handle this. And again, if you had an urgent matter, you would not have gotten the attention you needed. I'm 67 yrs old and not new to going to the gynecologist. Unfortunately, my previous provider who was amazing was now only accepting cash pay patients and I am insured. I'm being kind and not listing the name of my provider in this office. We deserve better care and treatment ladies. Do not go to this office.

I have been less than a fan of Dr. Paula Foust for a long time, but this pure abandonment has blown…read moremy mind. I just showed up for my appointment at her office to see a sign on the door saying that they decided to close the office at the end of September. I had called last week to double check my appointment was changed, as I have a new job with new availability since my last annual, and got the same answering service I had always gotten in the past. No updated voicemail to relay the news to patients that they were planning on closing. When I got to the door, I figured there had to be a mistake, and called to hear a new message, from the Doctor herself, saying they had closed due to Covid and inadequate staffing. I never once received a phone call, email, letter, or any correspondence whatsoever that the business was closing. If I left my job without giving notice, I'd be reported for client abandonment. I feel this is the same. I hope you saved enough money to retire, as you should never practice again. How do I get my medical records from you? Quick Backstory: When I was diagnosed with something pretty serious, Foust goes, "Yup, looks like _____!" And left the room. For over thirty minutes. I had to walk into the staff room in my hospital threads to ask if anybody was going to come and explain what was happening to me.

I am a RN with 32 Neg Covid tests and a neg Antibody test and asthma, chronic Bronchitis and allergies which were really bad the day I went. I had my mask just under my nose and was asked to put it on properly. I sad I have difficulty breathing they continued to state put it on. The 1 pt. that was in the waiting room got called back to the back and I took my mask off completely. The office manager stated I MUST wear the mask if I wanted to be seen. I offered up my 32neg results and she wouldn't even care. I told her that I was an RN and did the testing in the most infected areas in Fla(Broward,Dade, and Palm Bch counties) and did not get infected as I know how it spreads and I am not a risk to anyone, if anything they are a risk to me. I also informed her that there is a law protecting me against this treatment and she stated that the law doesn't pertain to them that they are a private practice. They can refuse service to anyone. I left flustered with out my annual exam. If you have ANY problems with the masks I suggest you look elsewhere for care. This is fear mongering at its peak. I asked to speak with the DR and was told I could but had to wait. Well I had an appt.figured I could use that time but the staff let all other patients in and had me waiting. I went outside so I could breathe. I waited another 15min and decided to leave. This is not the way to run an office..As a RN of 35yrs I have worked in all Medical situations and would never treat a pt. the way I was treated by this staff.
