Went in for a quick bite and I went directly to the bar. I said hello may I see the menu keep in…read moremind this place had maybe 5 tables seated. The bartender snapped at me FOOD IS TAKING TOO LONG TO MAKE! I responded I wanted to see the menu that way I can decide if it's a good fit. He then looked at me and said I only have 1 English menu which took him 20 min to look for and he returned later with a German menu. How are you a restaurant located in a almost 5 star hotel and Casino that's one of the biggest tourist attraction in Stuttgart only have 1 English menu. The u welcome attitude was a total turn off and you are a tapas restaurant in Germany. Relax! I think I will pass on spending my money in a restaurant with crappy attitude. Other patrons there were very disappointed .. you could see the reaction on their faces. I am not sure if it's the color of my skin or because I am an American but that by far has been the worst service I have received on my 3 weeks trip touring Europe. Yuck! Stay away go to the Dubliner next door. They have amazing food.

I can confirm the crappy service of the first review. Stopped in for a drink and super surly…read morebartender acted so put out he had to serve us. Asked a couple questions about the Festival we were in town to attend and got,"I don't do such things. They come here drunk after". Whatever. We obtain two micro pours of whisky and ask for a martini. EuroHipster add a measure of gin and a full 2 oz shot of vermouth to a glass, adds a little ice and hands it over. I didn't even know what to say. My friend shrugs and says that must be how they make them in Europe. Mmm..no. I have had a martini in London. I have had one in Spain. Even if you don't specify "dry" a few drops of vermouth are all you put in a martini. Of course the vermouth drowned out the Sapphire gin and made it undrinkable. A normal bartender would ask once he saw the martini just sit there, but not this guy. He just kept ignoring us. Look - I don't want to come down all haughty on the help, but how dare this guy condescend me. He wasn't even a kid that didn't know better. This guy is mid-30s, bad beard and silly behind the ears tattoos as well. Not exactly setting Stuttgart on fire. I don't need some hipster jerk bartender giving me snobby attitude. I'm not some gauche American tourist from Tulsa. I greet you in German and I am polite, not loud, and demure. If you don't like Americans, you are working in the wrong place. The hotel is full of them and I'm sure, as Americans do, they tip better than the locals. I could almost forgive the attitude if he was good at his job, but he's a lousy bartender, as well. So - in short, save the hassle and the $$ and drink next door at the Irish place, where they at least pretend to be happy for your business.
