Since discovering this restaurant about a month ago, we have ordered from here at least 6 times! Everything we have tried has been fantastic! So tasty! I feel the dishes I have tried are a little too similar to each other it doesn't feel like ordering different things offers any variety but still what we have tried is so delicious it hardly matters. I found the samosas had a very salty coating but as I cook with very little salt this maybe more of a personal preference. We have only eaten takeout but the staff has always been friendly and helpful and the waiting area is lovely and comfortable. read more

Tried takeout from this place for the first time last night. Everything was so good! Especially the vegetable samosas! I had never tried momo dumplings before or their version of a chicken lo mein and both were awesome! The samosa chaat was good but definitely on the spicy side. The garlic naan was cooked to perfection. I'd definitely go back! Best Indian food closest to Fate/Rockwall County there is! I do wish they had chicken pakora on the menu though. The garlic naan, saag paneer, and chicken tikka masala were also delicious, and they will dial the spice up or down for your individual tastes. Add a mango lassi to balance the spice - perfection! Would really like to be leaving a great review here to match all the other great reviews that I read that pointed me in the direction of this place. Unfortunately, I cannot. I would actually have to try the food in order to do so and that didn't happen. Womp womp. I had a super bad craving for Indian and if you know what that's like, you know nothing else will satisfy it and I desperately wanted to try this new, local place. Pulled up to the front and saw a sign on the door that said closed for catering from 2 to 4 PM. No problem, it's 4:08- I'm in luck! Walk in and it's dead inside except one female, sitting at a table nearby peering out at me over the wall, but she doesn't get up to move towards me, doesn't even speak to me (my first problem with this). Stood there for a good several minutes, finally a guy walked out from the back- I'm assuming he was the manager/owner- and asks how he can help me. I told him I wanted to eat there. He tells me that they're actually closed. I said I realize that but till 4 PM and it was after 4 PM right? He says no, that actually they're not open until 5 PM on that day. darn my luck. No signage anywhere that states their hours so that anyone would know that. If you're telling me that you're closed from 2 to 4 pm for catering on a day you're already closed until 5 PM - how does that make sense? Why would you even put that sign on the door if you're already closed that day normally until 5 pm? He says- well is it just you? Yes. Clearly. He acts like he's considering serving me and gets my hopes up for a second just to come back with - well my worker is taking a break so yeah, can't serve you right now, sorry. Seriously dude? You're a new restaurant. You should be clamoring for business right now and certainly not turning away what could be a potential regular customer at your establishment, even if you had to serve me yourself! A restaurant owner who is hungry enough would know this. Maybe he isn't. Or maybe he just has enough business not to worry about mine. Whatever the case may be. I was obviously very disappointed, but not for long. I took my business to Mehfil Indian restaurant in Murphy, who I am a regular patron of and have been for years now and I could assure you the manager/owner would serve me himself if he didn't have someone to do it! The food was perfect and delicious, as always. Wish I could be saying it about this restaurant, but alas... good luck!
