From the very beginning, they were professional, organized, and truly listened to what I envisioned for my wedding day. If I could leave a negative star, I would. I was a part of the bridal party over the weekend and my makeup was a disaster. At this point not sure if it's the technique or the products used. I had to redo my entire face by 11:00a.m -- 1 HOUR BEFORE THE CHURCH CEREMONY!!! The foundation on my nose was separating and under my right away I had patches of makeup missing... I also had a crazy amount of fall out under my eyes... from mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow. My eyelashes ended up falling and I had to replace them with my own. The infuriating part is that it was expensive and I was heavily disappointed. 10/10 would not recommend. Also, the environment isn't welcoming at all. The girls stay gossiping about other girls not in the studio. They make no effort to communicate with you or ensure you're comfortable. read more

OMG... for Punctuality they get an F! 1h1/2 later than the time I requested! They should practice what they preach.

I had a facial done with Michelle on Friday, a day before my wedding... I requested things that she could have easily done and charged me for but instead she was amazing enough to walk me through every step and let me know why she didn't recommend a step I requested a day before my wedding because I may have gotten red bumps/ irritation marks! She is very professional and knows exactly what she's doing.. i highly recommend her, her communication is excellent! I will be back once a month if I can. Stephanie is amazing! She has done mine and my daughter's both, hair and make up many times before and she has exceeded my expectations. I booked her to do my mother and my daughters make up and hair on wedding day and she delivered exactly what they asked for per usual. I had booked her for my bridal glam as well but I was gifted hair and make up by my bridesmaids as a surprise. They do great work but are terrible at keeping your appointment time. If you are considering booking them for an event, book them an hour earlier than they suggest to start. I had an appointment at 8am to be ready by 10:30am for my wedding. And the girl I requested for my hair did not show up and the makeup artist showed up 1.5 hours late. They didn't begin my hair and makeup until 9:30am and i was not done until 11:15am. And the artist had the audacity to claim she wasn't late. They need to work on their professionalism. I've spoken with other people who have booked them and they've all had the same problem. read more

I went for a trial for my wedding and the makeup did not last throughout the day. I told the artist I like full coverage but it was VERY light and separated within 3 hrs. Makeup wasn't done very well. My hair looked amazing! She really did wonders for my hair. The vibes were just off though. Stephanie spent the entire time either gossiping with other people or on the phone. Just wasn't very welcoming and if you're looking for someone for your wedding you know you want good vibes around you day of and this just wasn't it for me unfortunately. read more

Julie is my go to girl for hair and extensions. Shes very professional and always accommodates me even when i call her last minute . Michelle is our go to for makeup for special events. The vibes here are great. I Walk in looking not so cute and walk out feeling like a glamorous princess. They also offer makeup and hair styling courses which i will take advantage of soon. Horrible service, they arrived 1 hour and 30 minutes late to my appointment for my wedding day. It funny how they charge people more when you arrive late but it they arrive late they don't take the extra charges. Due to their late arrival I was almost late to my mass. I've been to this place before and the fist time I hated my makeup! But I decided to give it a try again... Michelle did my makeup and I loved it. My complaint is when I contacted them to book an appointment, they only answered through text. I needed my makeup done for a photoshoot so I contacted them 2 weeks before and they replied a week after through text. I called and got hung up on. First off let me say I did like the way my hair/makeup looked. I'm giving them 2 stars due to customer service. It took about 3/4 days of back and forth to schedule my appt. The girl wouldn't respond till the following day with any answers or details. The day of my services, I was outside at 6:00am and the place was closed. I texted her and told her I was there already and no answer, I waited awhile and then called her and no answer again. I was getting really nervous because I was on a timed schedule and also had already sent the deposit. After awhile I then texted an alternate number and I was told my Mua was running late. About 20 mins later she shows up and not very happy, if anyone should have been upset it should have been me. It took her awhile to ease up and set up her station. it was unprofessional and can't recommended her. read more

What a disappointment. I will try to keep as short as possible. I contacted Monart to schedule a makeup appointment for me and my daughter. Monart sent me a list of services and prices. I proceed to schedule my appointment at 5:00 a.m. since my event was in the morning and 1 hour and a half away from where I live. After this first contact, I didn't hear from them for days, until I sent another message and received no response. Then finally someone answered and changed my appointment at 5:30. But at this point I didn't know if it was scheduled because they never asked for my name, phone number or even a deposit like other places do to make an appointment. After a week and a half waiting to hear from them, once again I am the one who sends them a text to the phone number they have on Instagram, the person who responds sent me a price list completely different from the first one, and asked a deposit, which I sent in a few hours and I didn't receive a deposit confirmation or anything, and Once again I did not hear from them in weeks, worried about my appointment I contacted the people from Monart again just to find out that once again they changed the time of my appointment, this time to 6:00, and they told me it would be enough time for me and my daughter to be ready at 8 am. If this wasn't frustrating enough, on the day of the appointment I arrived at 5:50 a.m., only to find that there was only one makeup artist there and she was doing another client, she didn't start doing my makeup until 6:35 a.m., as for the makeup she did something completely different than what I asked her, and what's really disgusting is that she used the same set of brushes on me that she was using with her previous client, and the lashes she was pushing me to use looked like someone else had used before. And she did the same to my daughter, my daughter asked for a light foundation and she applied a very thick layer of foundation, and once again she was pushing my daughter to put on her the used lashes. And while we did our makeup and with more clients in the salon, they, the makeup artist and the hairdresser and the salon owner were talking about other clients and how they don't like to work on a certain type of faces and skin or hair. Very unprofessional and dirty as they used the same brush set with more than 3 clients. They don't respect the customer's time. And yes, I was late to my event and I was not just another guest, I was the godmother. I would NOT recommend this place. read more

I was skeptical at first about buying their foundation when they first came out with it but i figured I'd give it a try. I bought the full coverage foundation and it works great! Only thing is idk if I got a shade to dark or once it oxidizes it changes colors, so maybe I'll go a shade lighter next time. I get really oily around my nose and mouth area so she had recommended the cinema secrets(i think that's what it's called) color less setting powder and OMG!! Amazing! It didn't make me oily. I booked hair and make up service for my daughters Quincernia over 6 months ago I get a call a few days ago that the wanted to come at 5am in the morning because the make up and hair person couldn't come later to me that is horrible customer service especially when I had given them the time 6 months ago . I was referred to them and I will not refer them to anymore horrible business ethics know I am stranded trying to find someone else one and a half months before her party Don't use this company I think they probably booked a bigger gig and mine was not good enough for there services .
