After waiting for another 20 minutes, my waiter brought two small samosas. They were flavored well, but didn't have much filling. A huge party left and things cleared up, but it was another 15 minutes before an empty plate and rack arrived on my table. I thought the food would come soon, but lo and behold, another 15 minutes passed while I watched the empty plate. Food continued to come for the outside patrons, but since I came solo, it definitely felt like they forgot I was here. The menu prices are pretty high (6.50 CFR for two small samosas and 22.50 CFR for saag paneer WITHOUT the rice?!). It has now been an hour and my dinner has yet to arrive. What a disappoint especially since I was looking forward to the dinner. UPDATE: The food arrived and it was spiced well and the garlic naan was pretty good. The server at the end of the night (maybe the manager) was pleasant and attentive. His kindness improved the rating from 2 stars to 3 stars. Unfortunately, the prices, small samosas and long wait put a damper on my experience.

The chicken madras was ordered extra spicy (was listed as a standard spicy dish as a baseline) and came not very spicy (a dried pepper was on top-maybe that was the extra spicy part) and the flavor was just OK (3 stars), the naan bread was good (as good as any I've had but a little more oily than any I've had be 4 stars). The samosas was crispy and tasty but not special-just good (3 stars). The rice was abysmal (1 star). I suspect it was day old and reheated or perhaps just poorly cooked; I mean it was under/uncooked and even for basmati rice was so dry as to be nearly unpalatable which impacts the dish as a whole. The area is pricy and the prices here were consistent with the area (not unfair). I would not go back tho.

The sauce was amazing.(see attached picture of his dish) The first time I got chicken tikka marsala, my go to dish at any Indian restaurant. I thought it was good but sort of bland. The second time we ate there I ordered the butter chicken, as it had the same sauce as his cheese dish entree. The butter chicken dish was outstanding and I would highly recommend it. The first time we went the restaurant was not crowded. The second time it was packed and we were lucky to get a table. So you might want to make reservations.
