It's pretty cool how an entire museum can be dedicated to solely one subject, and one so mundane as money (sorry, I'm not a business major for a reason!). I'm surprised my school never scheduled a field trip here - young me would have had a field day being surrounded by so much dough.
They showcase the history of currency in the Philippines all up to the present, and they even display currencies the rebels used in times of civil war. It's pretty convenient and somewhat ironic how the entrance to the Money Museum doesn't cost anything. I found the place to be rather small, but very well-kept, and the security efficient.
The displays have got some magnifying lenses to help you see all the forms of currencies, and enough info is provided that you don't need a guide of any sort. Being near Roxas Boulevard, you can opt to take a quick stroll afterwards. read more
