Homemade Taro Milk Tea $6.50 - 4.5 stars. Slushy Mango, Cheese Foam $7.99 (didn't try). Jasmine Milk Tea $5.75 - 3.5 stars. Lunch 2022-12-24

Most other bubble tea spots seemed to have a long line/wait, but not Money Tea (there were about 4 staff standing around who seemed to have nothing to do until I ordered), which is the main reason I chose them. My expectations on quality were low due to the low demand, but I was pleasantly surprised their boba was quite authentic and had the right chewy texture. It was an estimated 10 minute wait, but it took longer than that for my 3 drinks. They do provide a buzzer. * Homemade Taro Milk Tea ($6.50) - 4.5 stars Loved the real chunks of taro, which added a slightly savory twist! Boba was soft & chewy. * Slushy Mango Juice with Cheese Foam $7.99 Didn't get to try this but our friends enjoyed it! * Jasmine Milk Tea $5.75 - 3.5 stars Good, boba soft & chewy.

Located inside the crystal mall food court! This drink wasn't your typical brown sugar boba, it also had some type of sweet cream foam inside. That made it pretty unique and tasteful! I would have liked if there was a stronger brown sugar taste to give it more of a depth because it already had the sweetness. The pearls were a bit over cooked and I felt like there wasn't a lot of pearls in comparison to the overall drink size (u can kinda tell through the picture ). Overall pretty solid drink though and I would get it again!

I was a bit disappointed that the menu didn't seem to match up with the purchase kiosk. I really wanted to try their matcha tiramisu but found it was gone from the menu. I settled for a brown sugar pearl milk tea instead. I thought the drink was good. It might have been a tad too sweet but I got used to it after a bit. The pearls were solid overall. It wasn't an amazing experience but I'm willing to come back again. I do wish the menus are a bit more up to date as it was a bummer to not try something exotic sounding that appealed to me.

I've had Macu Tea at their Pasadena/LA location, and the mangoes there were bland. But here at the Robson spot, I ordered the King of Mango, and it was absolutely delicious. It was super refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. The drink only comes in one size, but it was perfect for two people to share, packed with mango goodness and all the toppings. Half of the store is actually used for mango inventory storage, which tells you how serious they are about their fruit. There are only two tables, and we were lucky to snag one so most people take their drinks to go. The line does get pretty long, and while they have one self-order kiosk, they could really use a second one. They also have a register, but that person seemed mostly focused on making drinks rather than taking orders.

It's been there for a while so starting to look a bit dated. Doing good business on a Saturday night, although we didn't have to wait for a table. We were not super hungry so just went for drinks and appetizers. They have a pretty sizable sweet drinks menu, with a lot of choices for toppings. I got the melon slush with half sugar. It was plenty sweet, and has the nice honeydew melon taste. For appetizers, we got the Taiwanese style chicken nuggets, and a mixed plate of braised meat and proteins. The chicken nuggets taste as expected, got good flavor, and was tender and not dry. For the braised plate, we got sliced pig ear, fish cake and sliced beef shank. I liked the flavors, and the beef shank was tender. Overall two drinks with two appetizer was like $43 before tips, so not expensive. Solid place to go for some inexpensive Taiwanese food and sweet drinks.

They offer so many different dishes (hot pot bowls, stir fry noodles, hot and cold appetizers, etc.) plus an extensive drink selection. One of my guilty pleasure meals from here is their popcorn chicken, intestine soup noodle, and their Hokkaido milk tea. The popcorn chicken is always made fresh and food portions are generous at the price point offered. There's a reason why Bubble World still maintains a number of locations throughout the Lower Mainland and business is steady. Service is prompt and decent too.
