This place is rad and beautiful. New minimal hipster. Food was super yum, although the did rip is on an upsell of some Broccoli that was lightly heated in the wood fire oven with some cheese sprinkled on it. Ugh. Main gripe, the silverware didn't fit the rest of the restaurants decor. read more

A business meeting is always better with food. Interesting menu. Lunch at Monica's Eatery was light but satisfying. My salmon bruschetta had some lovely marinated vegetables. And my vis-a-vis eggs Benedict looked very appetizing. Special treat: homemade lemonade. Mine was pink of course with rhubarb flavour. read more

Very tasty food, had waffle with spinach, potato, feta, crispy pancetta, free range poached egg, fresh tomato gazpacho. My wife had the waffle with blueberry cheese cake, strawberries and she enjoyed her breakfast as well. Restaurant is very clean and service is great. Will come here again. read more

We tried this place out when we were visiting New Plymouth, and it was wonderful! The decor was absolutely beautiful. Everything just felt so open and inviting. We all got the chocolate milk to drink, and it was rich and chocolaty and satisfying without being too sweet. I had the mac and cheese, which was absolutely wonderful. The cheese sauce was creamy and sharp, and the crispy pancetta was a great contrast to that and made the dish so much more savory. It was probably the best thing I ate in New Plymouth. We also really enjoyed the duck fat potatoes and the chicken tenders. If I ever return to New Plymouth I'll definitely want to come back! read more

Only went for coffee and cake but very disappointed. Dining room is beautiful but one persons coffee came 20 minutes after the others and cakes sat on the pass for at least 10 minutes waiting for someone to bring them for us and only came with the last persons coffee. Iced coffees which were priced at 6 about $2 more than a coffee was just an oversweetened milky coffee with no ice and nothing else. Other coffees were nice. read more
