We brought the item to the counter and said we had an accident and broke the item. The owner of the shop said we had to pay for it. I was shocked but said nothing. To me this is poor business practice, especially since there were two people in the store and neither one of them bothered to offer any assistance. We left the store. I returned to the store to complain about the poor treatment and was told, "If you are going to man-handle things and break them then you are going to have to pay for them.".
