I was not familiar with their credit card/debit card device. The checker acted like I was stupid; sighed, made faces, and spoke in a derogatory manner. While I liked the service the alteration ladies provided, I will think long and hard before I return because of the checker. Someone needs to let her know that customer service is most important and that she would not have a job if there were no customers.

The price I was quoted was $15-25 dollars. I pay $10 in Los Angeles and $7 in NC. Even thought it was a bit pricier, the shop was conveniently located near my office. Since I was already there, I felt I could justify the extra cost to convenience. The big issue was the lady assisting me was unable to give me a reasonable estimate on when my order would be ready. She told me she would call me when the hem was done. I asked if that would be later today. She said no. I asked if it would be tomorrow. She said she did not know but it would be at least two weeks. That uncertainty made me a bit uneasy as well as thinking over two weeks (and maybe longer) was too long to wait for a simple hem. I decided to look elsewhere.
