I thought this was going to be my first high level bird in the City of Light. Much to my chagrin, the one I got was just lukewarm. I was ready for my fingerprints to be fully burned off. There was so much potential here, but as always, I have to judge what's in front of me. If I don't have my integrity I have nothing. There was plenty of beer and wine to choose from (inexpensively) and along with meats, and cheeses all the usual items you'd find in most grocery stores here in the States. The produce looked fresh, there was good selection of frozen foods and though the store was busy, the line moved fairly quickly. You bag it yourself here, so it doesn't hurt to carry a bag of your own while visiting, or grab one of their reusables cheaply to bring back to the US with you as a souvenier of your overseas adventure.
