I took my car here because my A/C wasn't working and was shocked by the estimate I received. The mechanic wanted to charge me nearly $900 for a part that I was able to find at a local auto parts store for less than $200. I understand businesses need to make a profit, but this markup felt excessive and unreasonable. As a customer, it's hard not to feel like you're being taken advantage of when the difference is that significant. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion and pricing parts yourself before agreeing to any repairs here. Had new tires installed here that were bought from a third party and sent to this Monro location. I'd definitely recommend coming here for work with your tires. The staff was nice, and the manager went out of his way to make sure my car would get taken are of. BTW, a note that if you have a Tesla (and possibly other EVs as well), it's worth having on hand Tesla-specific jack pads. Just search for it on Amazon and you'll see what they are and why they're needed. The Tesla car manual doesn't mention it, but they can be important. read more

They inspected my two cars with low tire pressure. On my first visit they were about to close, but Ricky came out in the rain to fill up my tires so I could get home and back the next day safely. There were able to repair one without charge and unfortunately needed to replace a tire on the other car. I believe the price was fair and the service was outstanding. Christine was very personable and helpful. Brian the manager showed obvious concern for my situation and others who were in the store. I would recommend them as they showed knowledge, integrity and concern. read more

Very happy and impressed with the excellent service at the Beechmont location! I was running late for my oil change appointment, and they were kind enough to make room to get me in regardless! The price for the standard oil change for my Ford Focus which also included a tire rotation was extremely reasonable. Glen is the store manager who had beyond excellent customer service mannerisms with not only myself, but every customer he dealt with. I damaged a tire sidewall and ruined the tire. I have an AWD SUV and had to replace all 4 tires. I priced tires at 4 different tire stores. I got the best price from Monro. Glenn, the manager, is an excellent communicator and was very patient with my many pre-purchase questions. Fantastic service. I came in, crying (yes I know) as my tire had gone almost flat. Rob, the manager, was helpful,honest, kind and NOT in the LEAST condescending. He was a pleasure to work with. He made me feel at ease, explained what needed to be done to my car, showed me the damage from the old tire (it was considerable) before starting new work. It needed an alignment and both front tires looked terrible. Again, for a woman who knows/cares little about cars it was exciting and empowering to be treated well and not patronized. Worst Customer service experience you can imagine. Avoid this place at all cost. I went into the Beechmont Monro Auto Service and Tire Center to have a tailpipe bracket welded back on my truck. This is a fairly simple procedure for a welder. I spoke with Manager Glen regarding the weld that had broken loose from my tailpipe. Glen had one of the younger techs "Avery" look at the tailpipe to assess the work and he said that it could be welded. Upon completion of the welding job, I inspected the weld to find out that the weld seam was spotty and of very poor quality, with several weld slag spots that burned and damaged several spots outside the weld seam. I addressed the issue with the Manager Glen and showed him the pictures of the weld. Glen's only response to me was that he would talk to "Avery" about the weld. I told Glen that I was not satisfied with the job that was performed and wanted him to "just make things right". Glen's response was again that he would talk to the Tech Avery. I could not believe that they would let a customer leave their shop with shoddy work and damage to a customer's vehicle. I followed up by contacting Monro Auto Corporate office. This was their response. "Thank you for contacting us here at customer service regarding your service. We have filed a complaint on your behalf so that this can be addressed by a higher level of management. If you are in need of further assistance feel free to contact us here at customer service." Theresa Customer Service Representative. This incident occurred on 07/13/2019 and I still have not been contacted in over a month to resolve this issue. I don't trust this company and neither should you. I just wanted them to make things right and they just blew me off. I wanted to make the general public aware of this company so you can avoid shoddy work and terrible customer service. read more

Been going to Monro Mufflers at corner of Beechmont and Witt Road for years. When Matt was there it was great. Went to have my air conditioning looked at, suppose to be $29.99. By time he was done it was over $117. When my husband called to find out what the hell they did, they lied and kept double talking about the charges and said i told them they could do what was needed to be done, WHICH I DID NOT. He kept coming in saying it was over charged. I told him not possible it had NEVER been serviced its an 08 and ee bought it new and that my husband tried to fill it but it wouldn't take any. He just kept saying it was over charged. He said he put dye in it and come back Monday to see if there is a leak. (If its over filled how is there a leak). Doesn't make sense. Email corp. They said they would give me a 35.99 credit to be used at any of there stores, well won't go back to that one and the next closest is over 1/2 hour away. Just be careful.
