I could not be any more disgusted with Terri of Lowry Auto body in Franklin, Pa. My uncle…read moreunexpectedly passed away in November. After months of searching, we discovered that His stolen bike had ended up in their impound yard in June. an hour away from where we live. After a slightly unpleasant first conversation with Terri to try to get some info on whether or not the bike was still there, i reached out again after i had more information and reexplained the situation and Terri spoke to Tim who said they would wave to massive storage fee and give us the bike back for the cost of the tow (which we were shocked at how incredibly kind!) if we brought the title, and showed up before 4pm monday-thursday. Fast forward 2-3 weeks after a few failed attempts to get off work in time to get a truck and trailer secured (and a few phone calls to reschedule), my brother and his friend were able to go get the bike. they showed up at 2pm on a Wednesday, they were "greeted" by Terri who said they didn't have anyone to release it and help load it. my brother said no problem, he and his friend could load it. she then stated "well i dont know if tim's gunna honor that price anymore, but you can leave a deposit" my brother obviously declined and just went to leave. as he was turning around in their parking lot he noticed a bike that looked like my uncles behind a gate, he parked the truck to walk over and assess any damage to the bike due to it being stolen and sitting outside for the last 8 months. before he even got to the gate Terri came running out of the building screaming at him telling him to "get the fuck off" her property and just acting like a lunatic. he got in his truck and left then called me to explain why he was leaving without the bike. I called Terri as she and i had somewhat of a repour to see what we needed to come get it and if i was missing something. She proceeded to tell me that she didn't care for the way my brother conducted himself and that he trespassed on her property, tried to steal the motorcycle, etc... she also told me that because we didn't come get it soon enough and have had to reschedule that they may not honor that price and that we wasted their time and resources. She told me that she's "dealt with people like you before", whatever that means. She then explained that she was upset that i had called 3 times over the span of 2 weeks when trying to locate it but also mad that my brother hadn't called when he was coming up to get the bike. the next day i called in to speak with Tim, who was pleasant and did not seem to share terri's aggravation about the situation. He honored the price he had quoted and my parents were able to pick it up this afternoon. Tim and all of the employees were helpful and pleasant to deal with throughout this process. Terri is absolutely the most unpleasant human i've ever encountered in a business setting. she must be an owner cause there is no way an employee with that sort of attitude would still be employed.

Cannot and will not recommend Lowry Auto Body. Manager gave me an estimate for painting new fenders…read moreon my car. The estimate was for an amount just under $1000. I agreed to this. Lowry technician delivered my car back to me with rough service in the paint, in two places. Manager said this was "dirt from the shop" that "got painted over". He took my car back for correction. Two days later Lowry technician had fixed one area of "dirt painted over". For the other area he just sanded and knocked out the dirt without repainting. The original surface of the metal was exposed. Manager response: "We are done with you. We are not going to do more work on your car. If you don't like it, call a lawyer." (exact words) On the basis of experience I can say: Lowry Auto Body is a horrible choice.

In the beginning, I promised a good review... Unfortunately, I cannot - in all honesty - do that…read more.. all I've received is an abundant amount of "over-promising & under-delivering". Here's the truth: I respect someone's ambition when trying to start or grow their own business on the side; however, not finishing with one customer and moving on to the next, after having taken 3 times the promised time, and still having it "incomplete", prevents me from ever hiring someone like you ever again. This is not a good way to get people to trust your word or ability to resolve matters in a timely fashion...I was left stranded without transportation for nearly a week, while being forced to do most of the work that I was paying you for myself, due to your lack of sense-of-urgency and slow reaction times. I can understand that you're tired after a long day's work, however, you should set realistic expectations for yourself and customers, so that they can plan their time for being without transportation accordingly; not to be left completely stranded. Communication is scarce, so if you're someone that relies on their car like I do, and values their time, I would consider going to an actual mechanic that will not leave you stranded with an incomplete job after already having issued payment. He has not returned any of my calls and texts back a week later with more empty promises thinking that I'm going to keep waiting on someone that is unreliable & undependable as he is -- consider yourself warned!
