I walked in with my pregnant wife and there were amazing…read moreworkers helping my wife find outfits for our gender reveal the following day. during that what seems to be an owner flys in with 2 crazy kids running around in the store making a huge mess and distracting my wife from wanting to buy or be there. the belts were priced 50$ higher than any website we attempted to look up the only thing that was properly priced were the shoes. anyway the crazy blonde lady runs in grabs clothes and tells her workers she's basically not coming back after wrecking the store and distracting my wife. we left without purchasing anything. we went ro a beautiful boutique called swoon very close by and had an amazing experience where the employees matched herring stones with no crazy kids or scary looking blondes. swoon has amazing customer service and the owners were there actually helping us and the employees instead of acting the fool. I'm only giving 2 stars because there was some amazing employees that made even that store shine.

Really neat little store with clothes for both men and women, plus some unique decor and other stuff you're not going to find everywhere else. The clothes are stylish without being ridiculous, and the staff is super helpful without following you around the store trying to sell you something every 30 seconds. I ended up buying two shirts and could have easily bought more. Definitely follow them on social media because they post new arrivals, which brings me to my only complaint. They had this shirt with chickens embroidered on the shoulders that I absolutely would have bought, except the only one left was a small. A small. There was no amount of optimism, stretching, or wishful thinking that was getting me into that tiny thing. So whoever bought the one in my size, we have beef. I don't know who you are, but I hope you enjoy my shirt. Next time I'll buy it first. Very cool store, great staff, and definitely worth stopping in if you're downtown Lafayette. I spent $2,095.13 on dresses from this business owner, Chuck, and never received my order, a refund, or even an apology from him. These weren't just any dresses one was for my vow renewal, and the others were for my 40th birthday trip. Both were very special and meaningful moments in my life. When I went to the store to check on my order, it was completely closed down with no notice about what happened or where my dresses were. I tried calling and texting multiple times, but got no response at all. What made the situation even worse was finding out from the staff at Jovani that Chuck never even placed the order for my dresses. So basically, he took my money and never purchased anything. Because of this, I had to repurchase all of my dresses again this time I went directly through Jovani which added even more stress and financial burden. Thankfully, they stepped in and helped me, and I'm so grateful for that. Honestly, I couldn't believe Chuck did this to me. I was in tears, crying over the phone with the staff at Jovani for weeks. I even had to call my bank too. Everyone should know these dresses take a long time to come in, and thank God they were able to expedite them all because of this situation. I couldn't believe this was happening to me, especially since I've supported this business in the past. I felt completely taken advantage of, hurt, and disappointed. I have never had someone I supported and trusted over the years do something like this to me. No one should ever have to experience something like this. Based on my experience, I strongly urge others to be cautious and think twice before doing business here.
