They brought music and items for games and helped us to have a really great time! It is EXHAUSTING running around in those balls. I took away a star because the balls kept losing air and needed to be refilled after games. The guys said they get new balls annually, so some of them were showing age I guess. We had a really good time, and it was a fun and different activity! Definitely worthwhile checking out with these guys!

We received a run down on how the machine works, learned how to thread the machine and how to fill the bobbins. Then we made a denim tote bag. This was super easy and really fast. After lunch break is the 2nd project. If you don't have your fabric, the school can sell you fabric directly inside for $16 a yard. I bought my fabric elsewhere and brought it in. I honestly recommend doing this instead of buying it from them. Because you have to wash your fabric like how you wash your laundry regularly since it shrinks naturally. We picked our patterns and I made a skirt since a skirt is faster than pants. They recommended not to make pockets or else I'll run out of time. But I HAD to add pockets. Women's clothing have little or no pockets regularly. The instructors are extremely helpful and friendly. and they immediately notice if someone is struggling or stuck. This really impressed me. For example, when I was threading the bobbin, the spool of thread was running out. The teacher was immediately behind me with a brand new spool of the same color so I can swap it out when it was finished. That was a great eye for detail! Overall, highly recommend. Just bring in your own 3 yards of cotton fabric, already washed and dried, for the 2nd project!

Super outgoing, patient, and made the class such a fun experience from start to finish. I really appreciated how thorough he was when explaining each step, along with all the helpful tips and tricks throughout the class. We made tote bags, which are perfect for spring/summer, and I was so impressed with how they came out! I'll absolutely be back to try more courses. I have attended many events here since my niece has started school here 5 years ago. The teachers are incredible, class size small (10-14 students average/class), excellent extra curricular activities, & attentive administrators. The cost is very expensive ($26K for Kindergarten), but if you are of the mindset that private school is the only option for your children (as I am), then this is as good a place to send your children as any, particularly if you don't want to transport them to NYC. Graduates go to excellent colleges, and many obtain sports and/or academic scolarships. Students are very well rounded, with exposure to the arts, music, drama, all types of sports, as well as academic excellence. A good choice for your child!

As an adult, I am still in contact with some of my teachers. Going back to visit campus almost makes me feel like I am returning home. I know it is expensive, but they offer many scholarships and the cost is a small price to pay for the quality. SIA taught me much more than just math or English... I learned empathy, responsibility, integrity and a sense of duty not instilled in students today.
