Monster Golf is located a stone's throw from Stonebriar Mall. This is our preferred Monster Golf location for the course itself. The artwork and animatronics are spot-on, really creative and entertaining. They are proud of their designs, and each location is a little bit different. It's an indoor course you play under UV lights for the "glow in the dark" effect. We find it one of the more affordable mini golf courses ($13/adult, $11/child/senior). It must also be very well-maintained, because we've been coming in for 5+ years now and I have never once thought, "Oh, this part here is getting worn down" or is dirty or needs to be replaced. The staff is friendly and genuinely want you to have a good time. We occasionally avail ourselves of the mini bowling and arcade (there are price packages if you want to play multiple things), but the mini golf is our jam. Anyone sensitive to strobe-light effects will have to stay away, though. read more

We were looking for a place to spend an hour or so before heading to dinner and opted to check out Monster Mini Golf. This place is a gem! Can't remember last time I went to or saw an indoor mini golf place, but given that it was a bit warm that afternoon and it was October, indoor-monster-themed-mini-golf was the perfect mix. We really enjoyed the quick and simple layout of the course and more so, all the unique monster-themed paintings scattered throughout the course. Our little one had a great time and we did as well. After finishing the mini golf, we enjoyed their small arcade area and our son was able to get some cool monster-themed prizes with his tickets. I really liked the theme and how unique this place was, compared to the other kids places of this variety (Dave and Busters, Chuck E Cheese, etc). After our weekend in Frisco, Monster Mini golf was actually one of the highlights of the trip and the friendly staff made it all the better. Was looking for fun activities for kids to do in Frisco and came across Monster Mini Golf. We got the terrific trio combo, which includes 1 round of mini golf, 1 game of laser maze, and 1 game of bowling ($18/person). Pretty good deals here! We also played the arcade games too. The mini golf set-up is pretty cool with the glow-in-the-dark decorations. The holes themselves were kind of repetitive, they weren't too challenging and didn't have as much variety compared to the usual outdoor mini golf places. Laser maze was a tiny room, pretty fast game. Good for kids. I actually liked the kids version of bowling here better than actual bowling. The bowling balls and alleys are smaller and you can just wear your regular shoes. read more

Every day is Halloween here in this day-glo infused world of Monster Mini Golf. Creepy ghouls greet you at every turn, Frankenstein springs to life when you least expect it, and an undead organ player will serenade you with a haunting tune before you head to the final hole where you whack your ball into the gaping mouth of a giant evil clown. In spite of the spooky theme, this place shouldn't frighten the little ones, especially if they're old enough to play golf. Golf games can be played with or without keeping score, but it obviously goes faster if you don't. The only thing that detracts from the fun is that it can sometimes get too crowded. Groups of players are sent in back to back which causes everyone to get stacked up so closely that you may have to wait before proceeding to the next hole the entire time (and feel the pressure of others waiting for you). In addition to mini golf there is a laser maze, mini bowling and arcade games along with a prize counter to cash in your tickets for some tchotchkes (that you've paid handsomely for!). All told, it's an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon (they don't open til noon) or evening for kids of all ages. read more

If you are looking for a fun evening with family look no further! We had so much fun with our 6 year old!! The golf, arcade, bowling, & lazer maze were all very entertaining. The whole place was extremely clean and the staff were all very nice and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure everyone was having a great time. I accidentally scanned my game card twice at the bowling area, and I wouldn't have even realized I'd wasted money. However, the manager saw it on their computer screen and came to find me so he could refund the game for me. Then, when we were done and went to the counter to pick out prizes our daughter was torn between two items. He let her "play a dice game" and basically just let her get the items even though they were a few more tickets than we had on our card. I've never been to an arcade that did that. It's always nice to have a go-to place with the kids when ya can't think of anything to do, the weather's too cold or too hot, or you're just plain bored but don't wanna blow a ton of money. Monster Mini Golf has become that place for us. It's never crowded even on weekends, although I don't think it's the best birthday spot because I've gotten stuck behind a huge party before and it's a buzzkill. The monster movie setup is really cool and not scary for little kids at all even when Frankenstein comes alive or the tree starts talking. My littles love all the games they have and air hockey is always a blast. Honestly, I could be there all day playing Mario Kart! As far as price goes, it won't break the bank. A family of four playing a round of golf and two arcade cards is about $60 and it's all very enjoyable so it's money we'll spent. Just don't expect to walk out with any of the prizes. The point values are way too high. You'd have to spend $100 to win enough tickets for a $14.99 stuffed unicorn. Otherwise, you really couldn't ask for more. We sept a few hours there with our grandchildren ages 7 & 9. They had a fun time playing mini-golf with us, then counting the Easter eggs for a prize and playing in the arcade. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly from getting us checked in to answering questions about games and in helping the kids select prizes; the golf area was cute and certainly a bit different; and we really enjoyed the in house music as well. There was enough variety with the arcade games that even us grandparents had fun playing and watching the kids play. We will certainly go back again. For Four of us the cost was about $77.00 Not a cheap few hours but certainly fun. Oh, and the prize counter had enough variety that each child really liked what they were able to pick out! We came here for a quick round of mini golf before dinner, and it was a fun little half hour spent. The course is pretty simple, no incredibly complex obstacles, but still offered a fair bit of difficulty for the amateur mini golfer. :) We tried our hand at the mini bowling as well, which was hard. $5 for 5 frames, and you bowl with slightly larger bocce balls - you really have to ram those balls down to get the pins to knock down appropriately. I did not have the arm strength for that due to my life of very limited weightlifting. There are bumpers available to help with your potential lack of talent. We earned a very low number of tickets, but the kid behind the prize counter felt pity on us and let us get prizes slightly over our ticket count. Thank you for your generosity. It's a nice place to hang out with friends and family while playing arcades or putting. Although a little hot and crowded, it's a fun environment with plenty of wall art and cool music. I am visiting my 5 yr old & 8 yr old nephews. After they were released from school, we drove from Wylie to Frisco. Traffic was okay for 4 pm on a Tuesday. The boys were so excited to play many of the arcade games (including air hockey), but loved the mini bowling game. My primary reason for going there was to enjoy the miniature golf; however, the boys practically ran through the 18-hole course. I am so grateful to Lindsey who "entertained & educated" each of the boys on the last hole. They were so excited being allowed (repeatedly) to hit the ball into the clown's mouth until successful. This allowed their mom (my sister), and myself to finish the golf game, almost leisurely. Also, I didn't get the man's name behind the counter, but he demostrated SO much patience as my older nephew, who is easily overwhelmed when given so many choices, and asked repeatedly, "How many (tickets) do I have?" or "Can I get this?" Even though a school night, and we didn't get home until late, the boys had an awesome time and were asking, "When can we go back?" He also was very understanding when we were "tapping" arcade card too many time and using using all several credits on one game. Thank you. read more

This place is so fun! Mini golf is $12 per adult for 18 holes. It's dark with black lights so colors glow, and the decor was amazing- especially around Halloween. Great interactive pieces and staff calling out "next shot is behind your back!" on a mic throughout your game. You play at your own pace behind the group in front of you, and the course was challenging and creative. The place was also noticeably very clean, and I was surprised how much cleaner the bathroom was for a kid-focused place over many restaurants. It's not a bad first experience, but it was not great either. We, being a party of 4, showed up early in hopes of it not being as crowed. The staff was attentive and even with a medical discount felt expensive for 2 adults and 2 kids($50). Each hole did not have much thought put into it, so it seemed repetitive. Having been an indoor place, I know space is limited, but the black light paint was cool. We got stuck behind the Stevie Wonder group as the family of 6 held us up and 2 groups behind us. A father and mother kept looking behind and saw people waiting but still let everyone take 13-15 shots a hole. One of the workers was funny and said some people are born with no athletic ability at all. It was a one and done place. Probably would not return. read more

I am so glad our group had found this Monster themed mini golf place! I live a good distance away and would have never known about it based on where I am normally ... but was meeting a group up for a private event at this mini golf place. We had the place for 2 hours on our own before opening to the public, which was great for social distancing purposes. The amount we paid per person was amazing based off what we paid the person putting this together! We really enjoyed the set up of all of the monsters, the games, etc. The staff working were outstanding! Most places would try their best and yet you'd find something that would be underwhelming. Naturally it would steal the magic and fun from your experience all together. The Monster mini golf however, show you the definition of perfection by creating this place exactly as expected to be spooky and yet fun. If you expect the locked monster in the box to be loud, it would be loud to the point that startles the visitors and the staff, putting a smile on anyone's face. My family and I enjoyed the mini golf with all of the obstacles and creative Halloween themed decorations in between. It's impossible to go through the entire course and not laugh the whole time looking at people's clothing, teeth and hair glowing in a funny way. After that we headed towards the arcade, most of them were fun, the VR seat however was the winner. Experiencing the virtual roller coaster on the VR was the best $5 spent. Looking to do something fun on a Sunday evening while visiting Frisco can be challenging as almost everything closes at 6, but this place stays open until 8.
