TLDR: A very DISSAPOINTING experience right out the gate & not worth the risk…read more I was VERY excited about this place because I have only ever seen these types of facilities in LA or SF.  I love that they are bringing innovative healthcare to Montana. I had really high hopes that this would be very successful & a facility that I would visit often. Luvita has a very secure screening process that made me feel comfortable about trying their services.  They collect pretty robust health & history info, as well as provide consultations that are included in the price of the infusion.  I was nervous, but eager to try their Meyer's Cocktail, which promises to replenish lost nutrients, strengthen the immune system, & enhance mood.  This seems to be a nice introductory to their other micronutrient regimens. When I arrived, there was only one person there & she seemed nice at first but then she kind of had a negative or unfriendly vibe.  I couldn't really pinpoint what was going on but she seemed off, as if she wasn't excited to be there.  The facility itself is GORGEOUS!  They did a great job of decorating it to feel modern & posh. When it came to prepping my IV, unfortunately, the Nurse did not seem to know what she was doing.  It was clear from the moment I walked in that this was not a good day for her.  This was really DISTRESSING considering I was already nervous about the infusion.  I have pretty small veins in my arm that tend to disappear behind the epidermis.  I get that it's difficult to locate my vein & it's not uncommon for nurses to try both arms.  However, in this case, she tried 4 different locations & not once was she able to insert the needle correctly. At one point, she thought she got it in but the solution started to leak into my hand which was painful & she pulled the IV out right away. This is a NURSE that's a medical professional so the fact she wasn't able to put in a simple IV raised a HUGE RED FLAG.  She did express that she felt bad but she was clearly incapable of doing the ONE thing that's necessary for a safe infusion (cue the 'You had ONE job" meme). As you can imagine, this led to a very uncomfortable situation & left me feeling more distressed than before I came in.  The nurse issued a refund (which she didn't even know how to do) & I walked out totally bewildered by what just happened. I was surprised that no one ever contacted me to followup. Both parties invested a lot, so to not have someone reach out to apologize or even discuss it speaks volumes of the care they provide. Unfortunately, Luvita is putting people at risk & it doesn't seem like they really care when things go wrong. If you're hesitant about putting your health into their hands, consider this your sign not to.

I started seeing Ashley in May 2023. I was very clear to begin with that I was seeking out a…read moretherapist on my own and only needed help with medication management. I knew Ashley from college and saw her a total of 4 times and ended up not continuing service because Luvita had falsely told me they were in-network with my insurance when they were not. It took them 6 months from my initial appointment to get me any bill and when I finally got it I realized they were charging me for psychotherapy and a telehealth visit. Ashley would usually spend the first 10-15 minutes talking to me about my medication and then telling me the plan to continue decreasing dosage. The rest of our time was talking about personal life. She would tell me about her life endeavours and I would tell her about mine, but in no way was this psychotherapy to me. I've seen many therapists in my life and never does a therapist tell you about their plans to travel to volleyball tournaments, etc. I called Luvita and asked to speak to Billing. The lady at the front desk was very short tempered and would not connect me with someone in billing. She took down my concerns, told me she'd get Ashley's side of the story and then hung up on me without another word. Very rude and unprofessional. Later that day, I got a call from Hanna Powers, one of the owners of Luvita. She started the call off very friendly and wanted to hear my side of the story. I began to tell her my concerns and she immediately cut me off and telling me about her experience with the drug I'm on. Excuse me?? I don't care about how your body reacts to this drug, Hanna. I am the patient, and I'm telling you my experience. I began to say this to Hanna and she asked me to stop cutting her off, even though she was the one that cut me off. I could tell she was flustered and talking very fast, trying to get the call under her complete control. She would not hear me out on any of my concerns and even at one point admitted that what they were doing with billing codes could be considered fraud, but it isn't because of some excuse that made absolutely no sense involving time increments. She ended the call saying she'd look into it and get back to me. I received an email from Hanna the next day saying they would not change my billing codes, but they'd give me a 20% discount out of a gesture of good will. All I wanted was for them to not charge me for the psychotherapy that I had not received. In the meantime, I was doing research on my own into the issue and also working with my insurance company to see how they could help. They eventually informed me that they would like to speak with Luvita themselves and that Luvita had been reached out to by them but never received any response. I emailed the billing lady that Hanna connected me to weeks earlier and asked that she reach out to my insurance. I never heard from Luvita again. 5 days after I sent that email to Amber in billing, I received a notice from collections about my bill. All of this happened 35 days after I got my initial bill and it took them 6 months to get me any bill. They were charging me $420 for every appointment over zoom that really only took 10-15 minutes of Ashley's time. This is not an honest company. I caught Hanna in multiple lies. She would respond by cutting off communication with me and directing me elsewhere. In the end, I had to file a fraud investigation through my insurance and that is still ongoing. While I did not receive the care I had hoped for from Ashley, I believe that the much larger problem in this instance is with how the company is being ran by Hanna. It is very surprising to see their plethora of 5-star reviews. If you do still choose Luvita, please be very careful and ask them outright how much they are charging for services and what they are billing you for from the start. I hope this never happens to anyone else. It has cost me thousands more in getting help from my therapist and other healthcare providers when I backslid to the point of severe depression and suicidal thoughts.
