To be honest, I don't know much about Monte Pindo. I was staying in Fisterrae and looking for a hiking tour, when I found this mountain of 600 or 700 meters altitude. It seems to be the highest elevation around the bay. To reach the starting point in the tiny village of O Pindo a, car is definitely an advantage. Public transport is definitely rare and the distance to the next village is large. There are various hiking routes around Monte Pindo. I recommend you to buy a map of trails or obtain other informations about the route as the entry at the end of the village is not easy to find. If you come from Cee turn left at the end of the village or ask a local. On the path there are only few signs and sometimes it is difficult not to lose the path. Nevertheless I do highly recommend a walking tour to Monte Pindo. The landscape is rough but beautiful. It's advisable to wear good shoes and long trousers as the path can be a bit demanding. You will be rewarded with a beautiful view on the sea and the surrounding landscape. In my case the walk close to the summit and back took me around 3,5 hours without breaks. read more
