I actually tried the place across the street first, but they weren't available at the time ~10AM. I come here when I need to mail something and don't want to make a huge line at the post office. I always need to make a line because I never know how many stamps I need and I need to buy the stamps too. I've been here a few times and everytime there is no line which I love. They have parking and most of the time I find one in the front since people are usually in and out real fast. They sell everything you need to ship but it can be a bit pricey. I do recommend you bring everything you need. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I'm not sure if they charge more to mail something than a post office but everytime I go it's not too expensive. I called in advanced to get a document notarized and the girl who answered assured me they could do that w.o an appointment and even let me know what time they closed (that rlly did matter). When I was being helped, I was asked to show proof of original document. I'm not gonna lie, at first I was kind of annoyed bc.. it's me? I went in this morning to get passport pictures taken. The young lady sat me down to have my picture taken, then told me the guy who takes pictures doesn't come in until 1 PM! I told her politely that she should learn to take passport pictures, its a very simple straight forward process. Three employees on hand and none of them knew how to take passport pictures. Came here to certify mail an application hoping the prices would be cheaper than Fed Ex-- not sure if it is or not. Anyways, the service here is decent. It definitely seems like a bunch of college students running the show, but I could be wrong. Nonetheless, they were attentive and polite. I didn't have any negative encounters. According the USPS, it stated that if I dropped off my mail before 5PM (I had a prepaid label for 1 day shipping) It would be accepted and arrive at the destination the next day. This was needed to ON June 1st and they did not ship it out until the 1st of June making it already late.... I did not mind paying a dollar to for them to ship it out but if they want to just plain lazy and not ship out when they are suppose to, then they won't mind the bad review. Their new location next to Panda Express is so much better than their previous location. It is so much bigger and everything seems newer and clean. You don't feel unsafe since everyone is wearing masks and customers maintain a safe distance from each other. My last experience was with the Live Scan. It was a super easy and safe process. I took my live scan request form, my photo ID and of course my form of payment and we were done within 15 minutes. read more

My girlfriend got a livescan from this place. She has very dry hands so her fingerprints are hard to scan, but not impossible. This place rushed her prints such that all of them came out "red" or had a low rating, but the guy running the place submitted the prints anyway. As expected, we got a letter in the mail pretty soon after that saying the FBI/DOJ rejected the prints because they were too low quality. When we went back to this place and told them what happened, they just gave us some BS saying "It's not our fault or machine's fault, it's YOUR fault, and we can't do anything about it." To top it all off, he wanted to charge us AGAIN to redo the livescan, even though he messed it up in the first place. Needless to say we went further down on Atlantic blvd to a better livescan, one that actually took the time to do it right and offered free reprints if they get rejected again. Thank You Elizabeth S. and staff for your excellent customer service. I had an expense lap top and cash I needed shipped to Honolulu, Hawaii. They had everything I needed. I literally just handed them these items and they did the rest. They boxed, packed (with bubble wrap and peanut foam), sealed it with shipping tape, weighed it and shipped it through USPS. All within ten minutes while I waited. What a convenience! What was really amazing my package was late and the USPS tracking was not accurate. Worried, I contacted Elizabeth S.and she was able to track the package for me and it arrived just when she said it would. I would recommend Postal Center (MPK) to all my friends and contacts.
