Montessori Pointe Claire is the most welcoming daycare! All the staff is amazing and so lovely. They care for your children like they are their own. Extremely professional management and so quick to answer any questions you may have. The chef is also fantastic! Such an amazing and safe location with a huge yard for the kids! My son has been at the Montessori Pointe Claire just under a year. He is our first (and only) and we were very nervous letting anyone else care for him while my partner and I went back to work full time after parental leave. The staff and educators at Montessori Point Claire were all so welcoming and helpful with our little guy. He's grown and developed so much in the short time he's been with them, we're thrilled with his progress and attribute it to the care and attention he's been getting during the day. The educators are dedicated and provide timely progress reports. They clearly care and our son is always happy to go to 'school'. I personally do not identify with either of the poor reviews here, so felt compelled to add our positive experience. read more

My daughter has been to montessori all her childhood (she's now 10 years old) my 6 years old went until 3, the staff moves a lot! All the good ones left dû to bad managing. My son had trouble with ear infection and didnt hear well for a while..... so they threw him out.... If your child become a little more trouble for them watch out cos from one day to another you end up without daycare. Plus lately kids were VERY dirty with mucus all over, they loose hats (that they dont make them wear outside) when my son began at the learning tree what a difference, kids are clean, learn a lot! This place is a nightmare come true! Like in any horror movie it started with a perfect meeting where this perfect place was depicted. Happy kids, competent teachers and staff. Then we got to the money part... it was hard but after some thinking we had to do it for our child. The day we started the summer program we started noticing how the "teachers" were more like bouncers or security guards. The second day, the nightmare started, I came to the classroom to see my son sitting by himself in a corner crying, the second day one of the bouncers complained about my son's attitude. As a responsible parent I told her I would like to hear some advice on how to help him so we could work together as a team. What was I thinking??!! She said she didn't know what to do but maybe a book could help... lol... the days went in and, like in a horror movie, I had this feeling something was wrong but I'm not a teacher/bouncer or some hipster with some ready made answers. Fast forward to 2 weeks after the enrollment, I got a call from the director telling me how my son isn't fit for the place... the classic it's not you, it's me breakup talk. Thanks to the amazing team at Montessori I had to leave my job and a substantial income to be with my son and help him go through this time. I wish I could give them a lower rating... too bad! read more

I'm a mom of 4 kids- 3 have been to Montessori. I plan on sending my youngest as well. I have only good things to say about Montessori Pointe-Claire and all of their employees. They have cared for my children as if they were their own. The Montessori curriculum introduced in the morning is great. They have an amazing playground and garden. The extra activities available are diverse. The option to send my kids part-time is perfect for me. The fun and unique summer camp allows families to modify their schedules in the summer. They have amazing and healthy food served daily...that my kids enjoy and eat. French, English and Spanish education. We have built amazing relationships with all of the staff and I trust them fully. read more
