They have a small but rotating and tasty selection in the cafe. I haven't tried out the workout room but it looks similar to a setup in a luxury apartment building. The classrooms are plentiful and big. Most have projectors and screens. There are lots of huddle rooms and locations to meet with your groups. The best perk is the free parking. I like the location. I just wish it was metro accessible.

I mainly came here to use the library. Being a high schooler, I really wanted to find a library…read morethat I could concentrate in. I really love coming to this library, they give you free wifi and free computer access with about 30+ computers in the library that you can access. I feel pretty safe there too, because there are security guards once you enter. The library is really quiet and very clean. The people there are actually pretty strict when it comes to noise, so as long as you don't make much noise, they don't care. But that library is so quiet, that you can hear everything that everyone is doing, so unless you get a quiet room, I wouldn't recommend talking. The seats are comfy, the desks are really big and spacious, and you get alot of privacy. Overall, the library is big, quiet, and very great to study in if you really need to concentrate. Once you get hungry, there is a cafeteria that you can stop by, and you can always go to giant which is about a 2 minute walk. Or a 5-10 minute walk to the strip mall where they have a 7 eleven, sushi shop, burger king, and oriental market.

I'm sure it's awesome if you go to one of these schools and can call this hub your home base. I am not a student at any of the universities so I came through to see if I can sneak in and study. The parking garage said that payment is required 24/7 but the gates were open so I took my chances. There are also a few street parking spots. The Priddy Library is interestingly not marked on the map near the parking garage, but it is located in the Academic Building. As a community member, I was able to just walk in. The library is awesome for studying. There's tables, group spaces, standing desks, white boards, even couches with lap desks. Plenty of outlets everywhere and lots of natural light make it really pleasant. It is dead silent so whether you see that as a pro or con, is up to you. Besides paid parking, the other downside is that the guest wifi kicks out off after 1 hour.

It is an impressive campus with a diverse community of students and faculty. Our campus guide was a sophomore, she was an adequate enough guide. We were able to see the Terps baseball team practicing and getting ready for next season. This is a Division 1 (D1) school, the top echelon of school sports. The football stadium ranks up there with a few NFL stadiums. The stadium seats 46,185 and if you're into college football you know that doesn't include standing room. As we traveled from building to building there were so many students encounters going about their daily routines, students in classes, students studying in lounge areas students lifting weights, students working out and students just relaxing in the lawn. Once again I was impressed with the 8 libraries on campus. The school is in the process a building new dorm buildings and the few they have already finished look very impressive. Now the older ones not so much. A lot of the older ones had window ac's and again a lot didn't. This tour was very informative and my grandson was impressed however he's still weighing his options. He had already toured 2 other universities. Also the ride from NY to College park Md. is 4 1/2 hours so not too bad of a drive.
