It is all within 5 minutes walk from spinningfields and Salford central train station and with road links very close by. 5 minutes walk to Deansgate and thus the shopping and other great features Manchester has to offer. The room had a reasonable size TV and free wifi is an essential these days. They have an arrangement with the NCP car park round the corner for discounted rates. The staff were very helpful, in the evening I needed directions to get to This and That (you can read my review here on Yelp) and the lady printed out a map for me to follow. The duty manager in the morning ensured a smooth checkout and served the aforementioned breakfast beautifully. The only thing I would improve is to empower the staff more like in the best hotels, when I arrived after a long drive from London there was a problem with my reservation so I was hanging around in the lobby for half an hour while this was sorted when all I wanted to do was freshen up. When this has happened to me previously receptionists have said just go up to the room and relax while we get this sorted.

I loved this hotel!…read more It was modern and swanky and there was always a Uber no more than five minutes away. It felt like a five star and for 30 more pounds a night I chose the top floor rooms. The top floor(the 10th I believe) required a special keycard for access. So cool! And the full minibar was free for all rooms on the 10th floor. The breakfast was also very good. Two things I didnt like however. First is this new trend with hotels to have open bathrooms. This is stupid. If one person is staying in the room thats fine. But if it is more than one people should be able to have privacy in the bathroom. Second was the counter staff seemed confused all the time. But nevertheless if I ever stay in Manchester again I will stay here. And if you book on their website you get special deals.

Parking up and staying on the outskirts of Manchester, a city very well served by public transport, is the answer. Needed a place to stay for the Manchester United game and this place was very well priced and…read morearound a 15-20 minute walk to Old Trafford. We took a taxi here from Manchester Picadilly and it took around 10 minutes. We got a 2 twin room and it was spacious, the washroom was big. They provided real hand soap which is a nice touch along with shampoo and body soap. The air conditioning was working well and was super cold when we first stepped in. Service was great, no complaints. There is free parking for the drivers as well. Salford Quays is a really lovely area as well.
