Stopped for by dinner yesterday. Not our first time here but first time for dinner. Place is cute and there were some patrons mostly at the bar, we sat at a table. Service was good, prompt and efficient. We started with the onion rings which I found very good, breading was excellent and they were not greasy. I had the Timeless Burger with a side of greens and my companion ordered the Falafel Salad with grilled Tofu. The falafel was somewhat gritty, heavy on the cumin (she does not like too much cumin), and not as soft as what we are used to (i.e. Dvash, etc). The taste of her tofu was as she put it "what gives tofu a bad rep". So I can safely say she was disappointed and did not enjoy her food. On the other hand, I found my burger very tasty, it was delicious. It was a black bean burger made in house. The burger bun was also very good. It was pretty huge so I had to deconstruct it to be able to eat it politely in public, in the future I will order it bun-less. Skipping the falafel and grilled tofu next time. read more

This place will definitely lift your Mood. Beautiful & airy space with comfortable banquette seating, tons of plants and a boho vibe. Staci was terrific, very knowledgeable and helped me make choices that would work for my restrictions. The food is just wow. So many vegan places are vegan in theory but pay no attention to actual nutrition. Mood is different. They offer mostly clean and healthy choices. I had the "fish" tacos (hearts of palm - amazing!) and Clyde had the burger. Both were fantastic. What a great ambiance! The moment you walk in the place, the MOOD strives to put you in the right mood. The staff is so welcoming and the food is delicious! I visited this spot with a friend for lunch on a Saturday and had a pleasant experience. There's a few outdoor tables which create a relaxed ambiance even in the strip mall this restaurant is located in (which was surprising). And indoor the space is vibrant and fun. Our server was kind and attentive while not being overbearing and even when she served me the wrong drink she immediately apologized and rectified it. We ordered the Rockin Rigatoni and Wok it Up.The food was tasty but left a slight bit to be desired especially in terms of the coconut rice and sauce used in wok it up being overpowering with the blandness of the rice that even combining didn't balance out. Overall however, this is a fabulous spot to try whether you're vegan or not. My friend personally was blown away by his Italian plate. I will note, I was hoping for being "vegan" and "healthier" that the food wouldn't sit as heavy as it did but perhaps that's intentional or we overate; either way just something that I wasn't expecting. MOOD was wonderful! Really tasty food with a hip atmosphere (LOVE the William Morris wallpaper). I wanted to steal all the plants. I got the fish tacos which were superb-- I've never had vegan fish made with palm hearts before! My spouse got one of the burgers which he liked, and our kid's Mac n cheese was really yummy. I've been to probably every vegan place in the vicinity and was very sad about Fruits and Roots closing in Stuart so I drove 40 min to here and I literally had to open the food in the car because of the smell. We had the opportunity to try several vegan restaurants for the first time this week. Sampling them all back-to-back made it easy to establish MOOD as the clear favorite for both food and ambiance. While the strip mall where MOOD is located could use some updating, a lot of love went into decorating MOOD's cozy interior and the many potted plants are well cared for. But the food is where MOOD shines. Our party loved sharing the Southbeach Roll, which was fresh and well composed. We thought it was an improvement over the similar NY Roll at Christopher's Kitchen, which is made of similar ingredients and was also tasty, but didn't quite achieve the same balance of flavors and mix of textures. Although it was a bit early for full drinks, our party decided to split a margarita flight. This ended up being a perfect share, as we each chose our favorite variant. Although it's not a fair comparison, the beverage at MOOD was my favorite, with a great balance of flavors and better complexity than the margaritas that I had at the other vegan restaurants that I visited this week All of us were pleased with our entrees. The philly cheesesteak was wonderful, with a mushroom-based 'meat' that worked well with an excellent savory cheese substitute. Of all the 'cheeses' and cheese sauces we sampled this week, MOOD's was the best. The menu includes other interesting dishes. One in our party had a bowl of ramen that the rest of us eyed. It was an enticingly large bowl with a variety of vegetables and hearty noodles. We were also keen on other bites from the starters list. Mood was excellent! The cauli wings were good. The lightly fried cauliflower pieces came with a "buffalo" sauce (which I thought could have been hotter) and a creamy dip on the side. I think they could offer hot, medium and mild sauce options. The falafel pancake was also very good; it came with a roasted red pepper spread which again I thought could have been a bit spicier. Rockin' Rigatoni was delicious - pumpkin seed pesto, zucchini, broccolini, cherry tomato, parmesan cheeze, and hemp seeds. I probably wouldn't get the watermelon mocktail again; it was mostly ice. My wife and I dined at Mood this week and were delighted. We were told that it was good, but it turned out to be really good! I am a diabetic and have other issues as well, all of which are helped by vegetarian and vegan foods. But I had no idea that vegan dishes could be that good! Even though the dishes were seemingly sinful for me, my blood sugar the next morning was perfect as if I ate at home. We shared two appetizers and two mains - onion rings and a flatbread as appy's. Best I've ever had as the onion rings were so thick and crunchy, and the flatbread was made using pizza dough from Bread By Johnny! The best! Then we had two Chinese style dishes - one spicy and one sweet. I thought the sweet one would not be good for me, but was fine! Believe me, you don't have to have health issues to love this place. It's just amazing! Oh, and the place is beautiful. Try it. The prices are reasonable. read more

Suchhhh a cute spot!! My friend and I came here to catch up and get some drinks. The drink were delicious and super refreshing. We also ordered the vegan nachos (everything here is vegan)! And those were pretty tasty too. On Fridays they have live music so if you are like my friend and I who came here to talk you might want to sit outside or in the back because it was really loud although she did have such a beautiful voice the workers at the bar were attentive and nice too! All I can say is I was not disappointed. I am a vegan and I have been to many vegan restaurants and so far this is at the top of my list. I was there with a friend who is not vegan and she was so impressed with the quality and flavor of everything we had. The food is delicious, we loved everything we ordered. The only huge issue, was the music. Loud techno music playing in the restaurant, and louder music coming from the kitchen. It seems there might be something internally happening with the back of the house competing with the front of the house regarding music, and both music choices do not fit the mood of this restaurant. Quiet relaxed music would be preferred, in order to chat with the person across the table. Kitchen sounds, should remain in the kitchen, and should not be blasting through the entire restaurant. I thought our server was very disinterested and lacked social skills so that kind of put me off. The prices here are way out of range for what you receive. I ordered a bowl of "ramen" which is basically spaghetti with broth and a few veggies for a whopping $24. I definitely left hungry; even after eating some of my toddler's soggy fries and sharing a dessert with my wife. I ordered a mocktail because we were on a road trip and was very disappointed to find out today that yesterday, when we were there, it was cocktail day and all cocktails were $7. My daughter is allergic to dairy and eggs. It is always difficult to eat out at restaurants for that reason. She was so excited when we went to MOOD for the first time because she could try everything on the menu for the first time ever in her 16 years of life! We tried 7 different dishes on the menu because she couldn't decide between all of the amazing options. EVERYTHING was absolutely outstanding! It truly made her day at the end when she was able to choose from all of the different dessert options because she has never been able to have a dessert at a restaurant before. She chose the brownie sundae and was floored with the incredible taste. All of the food was freshly prepared and was delicious. OMG! Best vegan meal we've had in PBC! Went for Happy Hour and basically ordered the whole menu so we could try everything. lol And we were so happy we did, because everything was so delicious! The buffalo cauliflower wings are very lightly breaded and have a burst of flavor without being unbearably spicy. The blue cheese dip is so good it was hard to believe it was vegan! The nachos were HUGE and loaded with toppings! There wasn't a single chip that didn't have multiple toppings on it which was so awesome! Everything on it was so fresh and tasty, particularly the cheese sauce! The sunchokes were incredible; tasted and felt like a potato and an artichoke had a baby. It was served with a tangy tarter that was the perfect compliment to the savory sunchokes. The Mac & Cheese was one of the best vegan versions we've ever had. It had spicy peppers, crispy mushrooms to add a umami element, sweet cherry tomatoes and toasted breadcrumbs. The combination of textures and flavors was top notch! Lastly the Brussels were great too; perfectly cooked and served in a soy chili glaze. We'll definitely be back! Lastly, the whole place has such an awesome modern, woodsy vibe with a gorgeous bar and super cute wall art. The silverware looked like tree limbs. The only big complaint is that the seating was super cramped; I could easily hear every word of the conversations happening on either side of me and it just felt awkward being SO close to strangers. The food was good, but the portions were small and it's pretty pricey. The wonton salad was pathetically thin, it had absolutely no substance to it. The rockin rigatoni was amazing and super filling. I don't recommend the Castaway cocktail, it sounded so fun and tropical on the menu but was pretty plain. The dessert was absolutely incredible. I would've given 3 stars if not for the dessert tbh. I enjoyed the date night there but I probably won't be going back any time soon. read more
