My first purchase was the mango sticky rice smoothie ($7) and I thought the first few sips was refreshing with the bits of sticky rice but lost the mango flavor after. I came back to try the banana ice cream latte coffee and this was much better than the smoothie. The banana tasted like the apple banana variety (iykyk lol) and didn't overpower the coffee.

Came for their mango sticky rice smoothie and I've definitely found a new spot to keep coming back to! The smoothie doesn't have the strongest mango flavor which I honestly prefer and appreciated that they actually included bits of sticky rice in the drink I sometimes don't see "mango sticky rice" flavored items doing. I could see this as a good study cafe as well this spot is pretty spacious and had lots of seating with no overcrowding.

Sophia saw this on Tik Tok so we had to try it. It's in a non-descript strip mall in the middle of Huntington Beach. It's a cute light and bright location and the service is very friendly. She ordered the mango sticky rice smoothie, which she said was the best thing she had today. I got the Moon Latte, which is like a Taiwanese or Vietnamese coffee and I loved it too.

Mango sticky rice smoothie - not very mango forward but still good Reminds me of this Korean rice snack but I can't quite put my finger on it

I ended up trying their viral Mango sticky rice smoothie! It was...alright to say the least. I wasn't expecting it to be so icy? I'll give this place a solid 3/5 as an AVERAGE rating until I try it again to update my review. Their layout is so cute! I noticed that they had their first customer's reciept and I'm excited to see more memories on their bulletin board! Haha overall, the ambiance is good, the place is clean. I noticed it's such a peaceful place to study or to catch up with someone. But I would like to mention that plants can be very finnicky so it's hard to spot but I noticed that there were a couple gnats around the plants. Hopefully, it's gone by now! I already notified the staff and they told me they'd handle it!

Clean, warm aesthetic with fast service. Plenty of tables are perfect for work or studying. Located in the corner of a plaza. A bit on the pricey side. The mango series for the season. Mango coconut matcha was really good; I may be biased, as someone who grew up eating mangos and coconuts all the time, but incorporating it into matcha is brilliant. It's refreshing and earthy at the same time. I loved it.

We came to Moon Cha since we were somewhat nearby in Huntington and I had just seen the mango sticky rice smoothie on TikTok. It was right around 10 mins before closing, but we were able to get our orders in with no issue. The space inside is clean, relaxing, and spacious, and even at that time there was a good handful of people working/studying inside. I don't know what exactly I expected as this drink wasn't really like anything I've had before, but the smoothie was very good. The mango flavor was very light but definitely present, the coconut flavor also definitely came through as a creamy background, and there was plenty of sticky rice that came through every sip, which added the perfect chew to the drink. I would definitely get this again if I'm ever in the area.

My friend and I enjoyed a mango sticky rice smoothie when we visited for the first time. Moon Cha is very aesthetic with plenty of seats. It does get full during the weekend, so there may be no seats available. I noticed a few outlets as well. It looks like a good place to work/study on a weekday for those who WFH!

    - super sleek and spacious interior - it's so cool to see the thought process behind the design since I first found Moon Cha on TikTok building their space! - jasmine milk tea: really cute cup design! The jasmine was nice and floral but I wish the mouthfeel was a little thicker and creamier since the melted ice thinned out the drink pretty quick

OVERALL : There are plenty of coffee shops here in OC, but I love when I find new ones that have ample seating space + wifi -- perfect for getting some work done over the weekends or catching up with friends! They offered online ordering which was convenient as well, but I noticed that I had to go to IG to locate the online order link (could not locate it via yelp's website section / links). Drinks were done early so I was able to come in and pick it up at the counter. I tried both a coffee and a matcha. Overall solid flavors on both drinks and not too much ice! PARKING : Plenty of parking in a big parking lot for the plaza FOOD/DRINKS : Strawberry Matcha Latte - lighter, more delicate matcha flavor -- do not expect a super strong double matcha / triple matcha type drink. This is a strawberry matcha, so it is def something where the fruit + matcha would balance each other's flavors versus having the matcha stand out on its own. i enjoyed the fruit puree bc i could taste the real strawberries used. A sweet, fun drink when I'm not craving something too strong matcha-wise! Banana Ice Cream Coffee - the phin-style espresso really stands out here -- strongly brewed and not too milky. banana foam was YUM! I got coconut banana flavors -- it does remind me of vietnamese flavors that I grew up with, but perhaps less of an ice cream and more of a che dessert in my head. Either way, still great flavor! I loved that it was thick and didn't melt into the coffee right away, but I would say it was almost a bit too thick bc it was hard to blend it into the drink with a straw. I would def try to sip it next time like a cheese foam drink without the straw. Appreciated the depth to the coffee + the yummy foam on top!

I heard this place had a Jasmine Milk Tea Matcha and I had to try it! We were already in the area, so making the drive here was not too bad. There was no line upon entering, but it was also a Saturday around 3pm. The place is small but super cute and had a ton of outlets to charge if you are looking for a place to work. Here is what we ordered: Jasmine Milk Matcha: I LOVED the mix of flavors here. This is probably one of the only cafes I know that actually mixes these flavors and does it well. I felt like it could have been sweeter, but I did like how they leave sweeteners there for you to add to your drink if you need it at no extra cost. I definitely added more vanilla into here and it made it so much better! Moon Latte: This is definitely the coffee I would go for. Something that is coffee but not too bitter. I loved the sweetness of this and the milk color is exactly what I look for when drinking coffee. It's more for the caffeine than the coffee flavor when I drink coffee, so I would definitely get this again! I thought that the salted vanilla was just perfect! Einspanner Matcha: Delicious! This is pretty much just a matcha base with cream. Usually, einspanners have mostly whipped cream or foam and they just pour the espresso or the matcha foam over it. However, this one is more of a latte with the whipped cream. I honestly liked this one more than the Jasmine Milk Matchan if you are looking for just a reliable matcha. I also added more vanilla to this, as I like my drinks on the sweeter side, but how it comes would probably perfect for most people. Overall, very impressed with this place. The staff were kind and walked us through the menu with a smile. I wished they had more locations, especially in south OC, because driving 35-40 minutes to get this is a bit long if we are already not already in the area. I would for sure be stopping by again, as I am adding this to one of my top spots!

Went here on a Friday afternoon and didn't have to wait to order at all. They were able to make my drink within a couple minutes too which was nice. The interior has a very minimalist design with a good amount of seating. Most of the tables were taken up when I got here and fully filled up within maybe 10 minutes. I would def recommend coming here to work since the wifi is pretty reliable and they were playing pretty chill music when I was there. It also wasn't too loud which is nice Einspanner latte: 5/5 this is one of my go-to drinks and I really liked the one here since it was sweet but I could still taste the coffee. I could maybe see it being too sweet for people that don't like sweet lattes though

Went here the other day and I don't necessarily hate it, but I also didn't like it. I'm not sure if it's my drink choice (as I opted for a seasonal drink) which was an apple matcha, but I feel as if though I barely tasted it. I'm a huge fan of apple flavors so I was really excited to try; however, the taste simply was not there. I might as well just had a regular matcha. The staff; however, were kind although I had very minimal interaction with them. The place itself was super clean and presentable. I just with I saw the other coffee place around the corner first.

Both coffees are the Banana Ice Cream Coffee and the Mango Tart Milk Tea

There are actual plump blueberries and strawberry chunks. Daughter likes the Tropical Storm, but wanted the coconut jelly in the pink frost. She prefers the strawberry lemonade to the strawberry hibiscus lemonade. She couldn't really taste the rose syrup in the rose lemonade.

This place is super duper cute, small but really cute! They sell cute Sanrio and friends stuffies,…read moretotes, cups, and fun other Knick knacks. There isn't any place really to hang out here so no tables and a few chairs (probably to sit while just waiting for your drinks to be made). So you must order to go. They have a black board with customers and the employees' favs so it's nice to have some recommendations. We ordered a milky latte $6.75 and a black milk tea $6.20 adding boba. The milky tea was creamy (note this has no coffee in it). The black milk tea was really good. Both were really refreshing and came in a super cute reuseable plastic bottle. I did read the sign on the door, and it said they serve in glass containers and to be aware and safe while handling it. But we were served in a plastic bottle instead. So not sure if they ran out or what. But if you expect a glass bottle just be aware you may not get one. I would definitely come back to try other as they have a vast menu of drinks!

A (coffee?) stained curtain. Cafe employees watching Netflix after they serve you. I'm genuinely convinced this is intentional, It reminds me of a simpler time like going over to a friend's place and hanging out in their living room. I had a matcha affogato and my partner had an immortality tea. Both delicious and served with a genuine smile. Definitely a different experience and I'm grateful for it. 5/5 this place is based.

She actually said, "Oh sorry, the lid isn't closed all the way. I tried to seal it twice but it wasn't working. I hope that's okay." It's definitely not okay when we have no other choice in the matter! Aside from the messy packaging, the drink was way too bitter. I really wasn't a fan. 1/10 Vibes - I want to touch on what the inside of the business looks like because... wow, it was jarring. It felt like I walked into some dude's basement. Mismatched curtains everywhere, 2 fish tanks that were straight up brown and green and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a yr, and sus couches just scattered around for no reason. There were cat treats sitting out too which was confusing because apparently there's a cat there?? There were like, 12 dudes sitting there and all watching whatever anima thing was playing on the tv. Absolutely not my vibe at all, but clearly it's catering to a very specific demographic. Cost - $7.65
