I contacted an employee after I couldn't find it on the shelf, they went to the back and got it and brought it out to me. I then asked her if I could still get the discount even though we did not place the order online because it was quicker to come in and get it. She said yes and to make sure the person at the register gave me the discount and to tell them that the lady in the back said to give it to us at the discount. The comforter was marked at $180 and with the discount would only be $72. So I went to check out and the lady rang it up and I proceeded to tell her the story of how we saw it online but didn't place the order because it would have been quicker to come in and just get it and that the lady in the back said it was ok to still get the discount. The lady listened and then said that she could not give me a discount, but that I could get the discount by applying for kohl's cash (which I learned is a credit card) I told her my wife didn't have to do that to get the discount. She then told me that their internet pricing is always different and that I needed to use a "kohl's kiosk" in order to get the same discount. So I walk from the front of the store back to the center of the store to find this ancient machine (honestly the tin man on wizard of OZ looked more updated than this thing) anyways I still had a tiny bit desire to try and make my wife happy and buy the comforter. I had to consistently smash the touch screen to get any response all while trying to enter my email to get an additional 15% off my purchase. After I signed up for the emails the kiosk from the Jurassic age told me that it would send me an email confirmation. After waiting for 5 minutes I never received one and ended up ditching my efforts to buy the comforter. Honestly I never shop here and will never shop here again as they were so unwilling to help me get the same discounts that my wife was able to get online. Good luck staying in business with that type of experience...

On this day at Station Park "Don't Call Us a Mall" mall -- a shopping mecca teeming with women's clothing and discount clothing stores -- my wife only bought clothes at Maurices. I've spent many-an-hour in many-a-women's clothing stores, burning time on my cell phone as my wife files through many-a-rack of clothes. I can say Maurices one of the deeper, well-stocked stores I've seen. And this Station Park location is FILLED with customers on a lazy Sunday afternoon where other nearby clothing stores are ghost towns. What will those passionate about women's fashions find at Maurices? Tops of all types for both casual and fancy occasions, denim ranging from shorts to jeans to jean jackets, outdoor wear, sleepwear, "intimates", scarves, bags, socks, makeup, sunglasses, necklaces, rings, bracelets, perfumes and... Well, let's just say everything a fashionista--from skinny to plus-sized--could possibly want. My wife spent an hour in there. Really, the "belle of the ball" is the "Going, Going, Gone" clearance section in the back left corner. This isn't your usual picked-over, mish-mash, 3/4 empty clearance area. A lot of stuff, on REAL clearance prices. How do I know this? My wife left with two jackets and a top for $28 and saved $90. So yeah, ladies, you may want to make your way to Maurices at Station Park!

We frequent this location regularly because it is easy to get to in traffic, and seems less crowded…read morethan other nearby locations. The shopping model is addictive with the regular coupons, Kohl's cash, and rewards points. They also have a wide selection of items that we tend to appreciate. In addition to clothes and shoes, we also purchased kitchen, home goods, bedding, bath, pet items, games, and seasonal options. They have an Amazon return station also that we've used a few times as an alternate to the UPS Store across the street. I found some items I wanted that I tried to purchase online, but would have had to wait 4-10 days for them to get it ready for in-store pickup. So I visited in person, and found everything I was looking for the same day. I also picked up a 70% off clearance item that I wouldn't otherwise have found online. They reworked the checkout from having several registers in their separate lines on both sides of the store, to a single queue line weaving through last minute displays to a bank of multiple registers in a line. You wait to be called to the next available register so no one can slip in front you. There was only one register open when I was there, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with my purchase. I'm sure I'll be back soon.

The person at the register was busy and didn't say anything to us for a minute. It felt a little awkward at first, but once she wasn't busy anymore, Melissa was really nice. She told us about their 30% off deal going on when you buy two items, so my daughter also grabbed a belt she really wanted. She was also eyeballing a backpack, but we were able to order in online (through Hot Topic) when we got home and it was a lot cheaper. We've always had a good experience here and the employees are kind. It's my daughter's favorite store, so we'll be back. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the items aren't the best quality. My daughter put her belt on and one of the studs fell off. Luckily we were able to put it back on though.
