He texted him, called him the next day as a follow up and left a voicemail, and "got left on read" with the text, and never received a call back. I tried to contact him the following day thinking that maybe he got busy and forgot to respond (Ive done it, too!) and the same thing happened to me. I also tried to inquire through the website where you can set up a showing time and get more information, and never got a response from his office either. We were browsing more properties and noticed this one that we attempted to inquire about was "under contract". We will continue our search, but this realtor seems very unprofessional. It's not a big deal that the home goes off the market, but the professional thing to do would be to respond to inquiries with something like "Thank you for your interest, but unfortunately this property is now under contract. Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future" or some version of that.

It was for a house that I was no longer living in and I was living 7 hours away. I explained to Chris that if he wanted the listing, he would have to do everything. What is everything? Be present at all showings, make sure lights are turned on and house is staged appropriately, be present for all work being done on the house(staging, repairs, improvements) and a weekly walk through to make sure nothing was wrong with the house. If I needed a suggestion on a repairman of any kind, Chris had someone to call. He would schedule repair, show up for appointment and supervise work being done. A couple of examples of things that I didn't ask Chris to do. He felt that my front patio was missing something, so he went out and bought two box woods for my front entrance on HIS dime. After my Home was under contract, we ran into a hiccup with a front porch repair. We were hoping to reuse the stone but it became obvious once the project started that we would not be able too. Knowing that it was a time sensitive repair, Chris drove out to the local quarries, found a matching stone, arranged delivery and secured the purchase with a credit card all in the same day so that work wouldn't be delayed.
