You give them your license and they provide you with a saw (I almost lost it last year). You can take a sled to make it easier to drag back to your car as well. Before Thanksgiving, it is by appointment and you can go pick out the tree you want before everyone else, then after Thanksgiving it is open everyday for you to go searching for trees! They have a tractor that will drop you off at some of the trees you want and pick you up, we didn't get picked up because we timed it wrong but that's okay. This place has a ton of trees and a lot of walking! They also have pre cut trees if you don't feel like cutting one down yourself. What I love about here is that they shake and bail the trees for you and if you need help they will carry it to your car- great service and super friendly staff. Some of the trees can be expensive compared to others but they do add some perks. You can pay cash or credit inside. Inside has tons of little knick knacks, tree stands, and free hot chocolate!! YAY, I definitely recommend buying a tree from here.

You haul it back to the barn and they wrap it up and help you get it on the top of your car. It is cash or check only, I think, so come prepared. You can also get a cute hand-painted ornament for your tree, wreaths, and more. They are dog-friendly at the farm, so some years we bring the pups too. They have 2 friendly black labs so if your dogs aren't friendly I'd leave them at home. Wear sensible shoes! It is often muddy or snowy. Prior to picking Country Pines we had visited numerous other "pick your own" places and this is the best. We won't go anywhere else.

Driving here and back to have unhappy kids after they were promised a strawberry festival and there wasn't even a strawberry in sight to even feed the kids. COMPLETE SCAM. Avoid like the lie they have become here!!! Next time go to Abbot's or other fruit farms they have real activities for kid, foods, restaurants, and they ALWAYS HAVE WATER to buy. NEVER AGAIN!
