Moore Water&Air did a great job with our water system installation. The crew that came out for the final part(Kenny,Brad, and the customer service manager Lee) did a great job of getting it put together and going. As they worked, they kept me informed of what was going on. After the trenching, etc.. was done, and it went very smoothly. At the end of the installation. Brad took the time to educate my husband on the unit and how to maintain it(since it will be him that deals with it most). Before the final got installed, we had Moore Water & Air installed a reverse osmosis system under our sink. We all know the water quality in Muskogee honestly stinks! Since all this has been installed(especially the R.O system, I can definitely tell the difference in the water quality. Before, I could taste the metallic/gnarly side of things. Now I can taste smoother water, when I use my cirkul water bottle and cartridges, I can taste the flavor more. I have done a couple rounds of laundry today as well to see the difference from when I have done laundry in the past. When I go to wash my hands, I can definitely tell a difference in the department as well. The water is softer on my hands than before. My husband and I are grateful that we learned about this company through a Lowe's associate( they came out and did a free water analysis/ presentation. It really was informative, and we learned a lot). I received a letter in the mail today from Moore Water & Air of Wichita, Kansas. I live in a surrounding city. The letter had my address, but did not have my name. It said it had been over a year since my filter had been replaced and they had been trying to contact me. It went on to say how bad it was not to have your filter changed at least once a year. We knew we had never done business with them and this was a fishing expedition. My sister said, "Well, we may be looking for a new water softener." I said, "No! I won't deal with an unscrupulous company. They're not an honest company and that always means trouble." I knew we didn't have them for our water softener, whole house humidifier or refrigerator filters, because I buy the fridge filters online. I then went on the internet to read reviews. You can never trust Facebook, because those are fake reviews, as are homeadviser and some others. Trustpilot & Yelp are more reliable and they had some pretty shocking reviews. To be clear I am writing about Moore Water Treatment in Wichita KS - which is the Ecowater scam artists that Costco has all the ads for. I wish I had read the reviews but I mistakenly thought Costco endorsed them since they had pamphlets at the store. I couldn't have been more wrong. Once they have your money they leave you high and dry. I'm seriously considering a complaint with the state attorney general. We had a whole house filter installed which we were told would last a year. Less than a week later, it was so clogged we had no water pressure. I had to remove the filter and run the system without it. Multiple phone calls and they have never even responded. If I could rip it all out and go with Culligan, I would. These guys are total scamsters. Do not trust anything they say as they have one goal: To get a LOT of your money and give you nothing in return. seriously bad communication from day 1. did not show up Monday so we rescheduled for Wednesday. they said I needed to have $1,000check ready for moving water from one home to new home a mile away. wrote check for $1,000. $100 for first 30 minutes and $25 fir each additional 15 minutes . called Tuesday to confirm the rescheduled appointment and they said "you dont have one!" they needed a $1,000 deposit. First, we received a flyer when we moved into our new neighborhood that said "sorry we missed you; welcome to the neighborhood; we have a gift for you, call us -Susan". We thought it was someone from our neighborhood association. It was not; it was a sales gimmick from Moore water. We shouldn't have, but we said "what the hell, we will listen to their spill, get the free thing and let them be on their way". Well, their sales team sure is good because he left our house with a sale, and this started our headache with Moore. #1 the first tech was very unprofessional, tracked all kinds of mud and crap in my new clean house, smelled like cigarette smoke, kept forgetting things in his car so kept tracking mud and crap in my new clean house, called his supervisor on speaker phone and was unprofessional and his supervisor was clearly aggravated with him, and then after hours I was not happy with the installation or anything #2 the supervisor came later that day and told me the water softener could either be installed in the middle of my downstairs living room to get 100% of my home OR I could get 80% of my home and have it installed in the closet by my water heater. I asked if I could pay 80% of my install fee and he said no and I said ok I want 100% of my home and no it is not going in my living room so you will have to figure out something else. #3 next visit they decided they could dig up my main line and put water softener in my garage. I was told it would be a process but that everything in yard would be put back as it was so I said okay. #4 next visit tech arrived hours after they told me. Started big job at noon and didn't leave my house until 9-10pm. They left the sight a mess. I had big landscaping rocks blocking my driveway I had to move at 10pm to get my Jeep in the garage. Mud piled all along my driveway I had to drive over for TWO weeks before they came and pressure washed it off. #5 TWO weeks later the tech calls and asks if I have a hose to wash off my driveway. He said they usually rent a pressure washer but he thought a hose could do it. I told him NO a hose could not do it. He also told me he could get mud off driveways but not fix my yard that day #6. A week later they finally come out to finish my yard. Guy just shows up and takes pictures. Says it's done. I took my own pictures below. I call angry and they say a maintenance supervisor is going to call me. NO CALL!!! We own a service company; we have dealt with many service companies. After almost a year later after they put holes in my celing, a guy called me from the main office in Kansas City. He said he wanted to make things right and fix my celing. It took 2 different appointments but they did get it done. It does look much better now and most importantly i dont have holes or fake vents anymore. In exchange if they fixed it and i was happy, he asked if i was willing to add an update or take down my review. I will add an update but I wont completely remove the initial reveiw because it still happend and it doesn't erase the past on what they did. However, they did fix it as of last week 05/05/2021. First, product-wise, it is a great system and I am happy to be paying for it. Second, everyone- everyone- in this whole process was ridiculous. It took four months to finish patching two very awkwardly shaped holes the installers cut in our basement ceiling. There was issue with connecting the wi-fi, which I never thought I had to have for water. More specifically, we discovered this because my wife had thought the flyer was from our HOA. We are new home-owners and it really played to that. She called the people and the salesman came. After 15 minutes I was good to go. He insisted. He insisted on going through all of his sales pitch. I asked him please to give cliff notes version and that I was ready to move on with my evening. Kid was running all over at this time btw. He still went on. Whew, glad that's done. Nope. Installers had to take three days to do it, then they were not done with one part. Okay. Wait. The next guy came to connect refrigerator to the thing. All day. He was the genius who cut the crazy holes in the ceiling. Then we had to schedule someone to come out to fix those damned holes. Okay. My wife made an appointment for Friday something something, and when Friday something came... nothing. She got a call from what sounded like a teenager calling to schedule someone to come. An appointment for an appointment. All of this is during covid, I was not crazy about people with their own set of germs coming in my house. Wait some more. At this point I wanted to leave the holes, it was taking too damned much time. But my wife wanted the job done as it ought to, this is not cheap. Evidently boss man was like super pissed at the contractor people who were scheduling to schedule. Then they got a new guy who could patch holes. Nice fella. (Again, if they would get their shit together they would rock). Nice fella was like okay, some other guy needs to sand. Then the nice fella came the next day unannounced. Dude come on. He came... and then we had to wait for someone to "touch up" Okay. More wait. Then nice fella came and prepped for other guy to do his touching up. Well, nice fella went into his van for an hour and finally other guy came and kissed his wife bye and came with nice fella into house. Not sure he had a mask on or not. It was so asinine I could barely see straight. He did his stuff. And then said that another guy had to come after it dried. Okay. More wait. Then the other guy called wanting to come in two hours. I was tending to my son's school work and my sister was coming to say hi in the yard, because that's all we can do any more. Finally other guy got what he needed done. I was a little snotty, I hope not too bad, but holy crap. The loan people... all along were calling, 'is the job done? is the job done' No. Okay, so they followed up again and again. I confirmed with them, my wife confirmed with them. Finally after the other guy came to have the finishing touches on the holes, the loan people called my wife, my wife confirmed that they had finished. Then the loan people called me and left a message, twice. Then my wife called again. She got a call and about lost her shit so she had me call to confirm. I just did. We will see if this will ever be over. All along, "sorry" but no rebate, no compensation for all of our hours of time spent to get this silly water thing. Water with WiFi, you know it's complicated. So again, in review- good product, like the other reviewers said, but super asinine company. Please ECO Water, try better and it will be so good. We recently purchased a system through their partnership with Costco. I put faith in products from them, and to be honest the product itself has been great. We knew we had hard water and had been considering a water softener for some time. We can already tell it has been making a huge difference after having it for just a few months. However, I don't appreciate the lack of transparency in pricing. The difference in what the sales person told us we would be paying and what actually ended up getting financed (at a pretty high rate even though my husband and I both have good credit) is pretty substantial. We never received an itemized list of what each product cost (we bought a package that included the water softener system, a RO system, and an air filtration system). I asked about alternative options during the sales pitch, and the guy said that because we went through Costco and the offer included a gift card for 15% back the package of all three products was our only option. We also were told we would get "6 years of free soap," which is not entirely true. It's six years of access to a company with a "warehouse membership" that normally costs $300 per year. You also get points toward some free product and so far I'm not really that impressed with the soap. I'm not convinced that any of this is actually free and I suspect that the $1,800 cost of six years of warehouse memberships is also rolled into the amount we financed. Now that I know the interest rate we are financing, I'd be fine foregoing the Costco card and soaps if it meant financing a much lower amount of money. I also thought it was weird that we had our system installed before the financing actually went through. I realize now that maybe there's a reason it's almost impossible to find prices for these systems on Google even though you can easily look up the price of competitor systems. I don't mind paying more for quality, and I am genuinely happy with the water softener (it's why I didn't go all the way down to 1 star). However, I feel that this process included a lot of shady gimmicks, and I'm not happy with how much we ended up paying for it. Unfortunately, we learned our lesson too late. But hopefully this review will save someone else from getting tricked by a shady used car salesman of Ecowater. TLDR: Great product, shady sales practices. read more

Really wish I would have read all these reviews among all the others all over the Internet. Now I owe more than what I paid for the equipment due to the ridiculous financing they offer. Not only that, the salesman said my credit should land me a much better APR, that is not the case at all. I had a signature loan at a lower rate when I was 19 years old! Called to talk to EcoWater about this issue, no answer and no call back. This is not the first time either. My prior review was to the same issue, to where they made the excuse that a couple other people made mention of this and there "must be an issue with our phone system". When a voicemail is left, it doesn't just disappear. Their customer service at the office, this early on is a terrible sign of how I will be treated in the future. The techs that came out for that issue were great though! I would never recommend this company and their shady, pushy sales tactics. This is a $2000 system with parts and filters that are proprietary to EcoWater, no listed prices, could change at any time for any reason. I'd rather buy from a box store and replace ever 5-10 years, it would be substantially cheaper. Don't get me wrong, it's a good looking system, somewhat sold itself with the technology in it. I bought a softener and was able to get it installed quickly. Had several issues with the app and salt percentage. I tried calling several times but they do not answer most times. Finally got that fixed then got financial papers to fill out for the second time but this time they tried to change the terms. Again had a lot of trouble getting a hold of them to make them fix it. Now I'm noticing my water bill is really high and for a lot more gallons than the softener says I used. I found 7 joints on the water pipe before the softener that the tech installed leaking and water going into my foundation. Had it installed a month after moving in to a brand new house, finished built 7 months ago, installer cut into our drain pipe which cause our down stairs ceiling to leak, which was June 16th, and almost a month and our down stairs still isn't fixed we've lived in this house for a little over 2 month and my kids can't even play down stairs in their play room. Carpet smells like mold. They were only going to fix a small spot on the ceiling but i had them fix where all the leak is showing, but there's still more that they're not repairing, pretty much what ever they see from the outside. Also they don't mention the 9.99% from the sales price of $7,060 which would be over $11,400 over a 10 year period, salesman says he's mentioned it but I have surveillance cameras in my house and re-watched several times and never mentioned any of that, just mainly said $98 a month but nothing about interest rate. We had to cancel my son's birthday which we planned and s invitations a week after moving into our new house cause we wanted people to see our beautiful house, and seems we might have to cancel my middle childs birthday which coming up cause we thought it would be resolved and fix within 2 week but instead its going to be close to a month. I've never been so stressed in my life, and so much of my time has been wasted. There's so much more i can say but I'm getting major anxiety just typing this out read more

I would give 0 stars if possible I had a eco water system installed in my house, they came to replace the filters and acknowledge they put the membrane in wrong causing it to break as well as out the wrong filter in. No problem accidents happen. I pay them for the filter replacement and they replace the membrane that they broke. All is good until the next day they guy comes back and asks us about a leak we called about. Only we never called about a leak. They unscrewed the pipe that goes to my sink drain causing my sink to leak when we use it ruining my cabinet bottom. They come out and only put a pice of wood board down to "fix it". Then bill me for the membrane they installed wrong. After me catching them causing other problem in what I can only assume was to charge me more before I caught on to what they were doing. In my opinion this is a scam. Buyer beware. read more

Our equipment malfunctioned the same day of installation. We've had zero water pressure to our reverse osmosis and our fridge and as an added bonus it caused our water bill to spike to $650! We called repeatedly regarding these issues and were told every time that someone would call us to have a tech check our equipment. No one ever called. Now after speaking with Brad the Manager, he stated it's past our return window (even though we called repeatedly before the return time) and now we're stuck with a $10k paper weight. We had a salesman come to our house to give a pitch after going to a wedding expo. The salesman told us all these great things. Said that we would get free soap from this one company that would last like 7-10 years so 7+ years of free shampoo, laundry soap, window cleaner, etc. We failed to do our research after he left and decided to buy it along with the air purifier and reverse osmosis. We are very unsatisfied. Learned we could've spent 1/8 of the price at Sam's for a water purifier that would've worked just as good. The water purifier is ok. There honestly hasn't been that much of a noticeable difference in our water and it seems to have almost caused more harm then good. The reverse osmosis we actually do like but again could've bought one way cheaper somewhere else for the same quality. The replacement filters for the reverse osmosis and air purifier are almost $500 and need replaced every year.... (On top of having to buy the salt once we run out.) They keep calling to get us to buy them but we can't afford that which I told them but they continue to call. The soaps/cleaners honestly suck. We had to stop using the dishwasher detergent because it wouldn't clean our dishes so now we're back to using Cascade. The shampoo is not at all conditioning but we're using it because it's "free" and buy conditioner to use with it. The dish soap is alright. Laundry soap isn't great. We may have to go back to using a name brand but really don't want to add to the list of what we can't use. Cleaners are ok. Nothing special. We still use other cleaners and barely use the "free" ones. I finally logged in to my account for the soaps and learn that we will only get about a 3 year supply based on our usage of the 3 things we use because the points don't get you very far. We do not want our system anymore but it seems there's nothing we can do at this point. We were lied to and are now stuck with a loan and a system that we can barely afford and don't want. We've been paying on the loan for around a year now and the current balance is at about $8600. That's ridiculous. We fully regret our decision. read more

First, it works. The eco water system in Wichita does soften our water as good as any other water softener. We're glad for that as we had no idea how wonderful soft water can be but listening to the top notch salesman they sent over you'd think that a Wichita ecowater system could make you walk on water. Hardly. The salesman for eco water in Wichita was good, very good, and we bought one cause if we didn't do it today right now another deal like this would never come along. It fact, he outright lied telling us this was the best deal on a water softener we were ever likely to get in Wichita or anywhere else. We shopped around, after the fact, and found out we'd been had. My fault, 100% and I take full blame. There are much less expensive alternatives water softeners all over Wichita that work just as well. They soften water. The thing that upset me the most about eco water systems in Wichita, besides my own stupidity, was all the misinformation. I was told specifically that it would be no problem bypassing the outside hose bibs. The installer had a different take on that. It would be really expensive. We were led to believe these systems used less salt. Foiled again. I asked about operating expense down the road. None, just salt and not much of it. Forgot to mention the expensive filters to be replaced every year of course sold by eco water systems of Wichita. We like having soft water but I paid way, way to much for it. My business partner and I were originally interested in purchasing a water filtration system for our business. Moore Water Treatment, Inc. recommended a softener + reverse osmosis system. It was priced at $6900 for the entire system and Moore Water stated that it would handle my needs of a minimum of 35 gallons per day with some room for growth. The system ended up providing only 3 gallons of RO water per day. Moore Water responded by recommending a larger system at a cost of $8500 that would provide a minimum of 500 fallons of RO water per day and have a storage capacity of 80 gallons. Installation took 11 days longer than promised; and, once installed, it developed mechanical failures. A day after installation, the new system began leaking overnight and flooded our floors. We tested the tank's holding capacity and found that it held less than half of the promised amount. When Moore Water could not explain why the tank could not retain the promised 80 gallon capacity and recommended adding another $700 tank, we decided to do some research on our own. We determinded that the tank installed by Moore Water was not recommended for our application; and, when questions about this, Moore Water admitted they did not have experience with a commercial RO rilftration system. We rightfully concluded that we should cancel the contracts and seek a qualified installer who could meet our needs. When we asked to cancel and return the equipment, Moore Water advised that we were legally bound by the contracts and obligated to live up to the agreements. We reviewed the contracts and determined we were only contractually bound for the water softener at a cost of $3,895. Based on the problems, we asked Moore Water to take the entire system back. Moore Water refused but agreed that we could return the RO system if we would pay for the $3,895 water softener. The next day, we found that the water softener was recharging more frequently than advertised resulting in an inordinate amount of water being wasted and draining on to our yard. We advised them of the problem and asked Moore Water to cancel the entire contract(s) and remove their equipment but they refused. If you are considering doing business with this company, I would highly recommend that you do your research and look at the many other negative reviews. read more

They are crooks. They are not upfront with you on the cost or any details on the loan. If you make the payment they tell you it is going to be it would be 20 years before it is payed off. I wish they would come take it out. The softener doesn't work very well and can't keep up to wash 2 cars. I was told someone would come between 8 and 5 but told I would get a call approximately 30 minutes prior. I arranged my schedule to be home during this time. He didn't show up till 615 that night and didn't call till he was in the driveway and realized no one was home. Just FYI .. if anyone is interested in EcoWater Systems, DO NOT DO IT. we're military & moving in a few weeks, & we tried to get the system removed since the new owners don't want it. EcoWater doesn't have a military clause, which was explained to me very forcefully by a manager over the phone after being directed back & forth between EcoWater and the financing company. we were then told we could continue paying it off at our new location. the company that they finance through is called Aqua Finance, who placed a lein on the system without saying anything to us, meaning we had to pay the entire thing off before we could close on our house. we didn't find this out until we were signing the closing papers for the house. then, when EcoWater came to disconnect our system, they left huge holes in the sink & underneath it. they also left the purifier in the basement full of water, so the movers didn't take it, which we now have to figure out how to get it to our new location. aside from all that, they charged us a $93 fee for disconnecting it, which idk why we should have to pay more to this company when the whole thing has been a terrible experience. then, EcoWater never made us aware that there were 2 separate work orders needed .. 1 to disconnect the unit, & 1 to move it to a new state. who would have known? after we spent hours emptying the salt & water, the unit is still too heavy to bring up the stairs out of the house that we no longer own in 2 days. the shipping company already came to move our household items, & we now have no way to move this unit, that we were forced to pay off, to our new location. I called EcoWater & was told to either try to sell it this week before I move or pay UPS out of pocket hundreds of dollar to ship it. just don't do it. read more

Well the water softener and other things I got are fine. The real problem was reverse osmosis system. I have the following issues with the install/use o 1 the water air hole on the faucet leaks and fills my whole counter with water. Not a problem as the line needs cleaned they attached to my garbage disposal on the side of all places not to the top where it would be less likely to get clogged. o waited 3 weeks for a tech to be in my town to fox it. He said its good to go and fixed however, he never even turned the water on to check it wasnt flooding my counter. But as he said it was fixed turned the cut off valves to on and used it and bam 10 minutes later flood. But I hadn't used my sink faucet or garbage disposal to make it clog again. So did he even flush it or bleed that line thats clogged??? o third problem I have is asode from fresh clean water thats filtrated for drinking is my fridge is tied into this line. So they said this system prevents buying water ice etc well 3 months into a purchase still buying water and ice and paying for the filtration system I cannot use Water softener and all the other stuffs great im happy with. But install on this part was sloppy in my oppinion. And not living up to what they promised and guaranteed. read more

Not happy. Called to have them come service and explain how to use the water softener in the home we just purchased. When the SALES man got here, first thing he did is tested the water and told us how bad it was and that we needed a new system. He did not look at the one we had. I explained I called to get the one we had serviced and for someone to explain how to use it. He went down and just looked at it and said it did not work anymore and we needed a new system. Again I explained that I wanted to have it serviced and for him to explain how to use it. He said sorry it does not work and it would cost over $1000.00 to fix it. HOW DOES he know that if he did not even touch it. All he wanted to do was sell us a new system. Such a waist of my time and his time as I explained when I talked to them that I just needed a service call and explanation. Once he figured I was not going to buy is EXPENSIVE system he left. Poor salesman and customer service. I would not recommend them to anyone unless you are wanting a expensive new system. read more

The first cold call I got from Ecowater systems was simply survey with the promise of a free knife set gift. After helping them complete the survey, I was told the gift would come delivered by a salesman to my home. When making the appointment they told me it would take 30-40 minutes as they also wanted to do a free water test. Weird but not a big deal. When I couldn't meet them for the first two appointments they called me again asking when my wife AND I could meet. I asked why my wife would need to be there and they said it was their policy. Ha.
