As someone who's gone to this gym from time to time, there are a few pros & cons that I will list…read moreout in detail to help you better understand as to whether or not this gym is for you! Pros: The gym has a LARGE amount of amenities. There are two basketball courts (which are also used for pickleball), an indoor lap pool with hot tubs, an outdoor swimming area with slides (at an extra charge). There are classes, a ton of different machines for both cardio and lifting, and a really clean and upscale atmosphere. People tend to mind their own business and the staff have on average been helpful, at least in my experience. There is also a kids "daycare" if that's what you call it. A lot of parents will use this so they can have time to work out and actually work. There's a little area right next to the cafe that has tables and outlets. I see a lot of people with MacBooks doing work. They probably work remotely. Who knows. Cons: The price point for this gym is definitely the highest of them all coming in at $220.00 a month per person. IF you are married or you can prove cohabitation, you can add an additional person on your account for around $100 a month. This gym definitely has a crowd that is very gymcentric. This isn't a bad thing. But some people who are looking for a more chill or less intimidating atmosphere may think twice. I was one of these people until I decided to just not care. But that's easier said than done. The gym can be exceptionally crowded at peak hours. So if you plan on going daily I'd do my very best to avoid late afternoons on weekdays and nights on weekends. I was hoping the bathroom situation would be a little better but, there seems to be 2 bathrooms for ladies and men of course (from what I've seen). And with the amount of people there sometimes, it can be a little bit hectic. The locker room is fine and the showers are just average. At the price point of $220.00 I was expecting some futuristic pod shower than also does your taxes but, we all can't have what we want. The outside swimming area is an additional monthly charge, by the way. Conclusion: So take it or leave it. The price point is HIGH, but there are a lot more amenities and options for machines than any other gym out there. Is that justified? I don't really know. So three stars. Until they have a robot that does my taxes, then it might go to 4.

Have been a member for about 5 months but have decided to cancel. The only reason I joined was to…read morehave somewhere to play both pickleball and have a gym. But to start: 1. Mt. Laurel location does not have pickleball courts. Only a basketball court with lines everywhere and rolling nets. Luckily I was able to stop at the Princeton location after work, if not for that I probably would've cancelled right away. Why does this location not have real pickleball courts and hardly any open play times?? 2. The gym is mediocre at best. Half of the space is dedicated for their strength training classes, so at busy hours, good luck finding a rack, especially one with a mirror in front of it. 3. They also don't have a turf area, or any sort of soft surface. It is all hardwood. 4. Half of the machines are very old, especially the cable machines Also, their business tactics are shady in general. When going to sign up online, my only option for membership was "the signature" so I assumed that is all they had. Turns out after 5 months I realized they have a standard membership that is slightly cheaper, but is not marketed anyhwere because they want you to pay up for the signature. So I was paying around $414 a month for x2 people to get subpar basically everything.

The gentleman came back and not having the boxes checked also threw him off. I restated I just wanted a tour and asked should I just go home? So he just bristly walked me through the work out and did not mention the pricing until as asked if I would get everything on Silversneakers (of course not, but this dude need the tablet with all the boxes checked to give pricing). I thank him and left. My feeling was the two people working the desk last job was in fast food...

As years went by, the customer service declined even at the old ownership while prices rose, and it closed during Covid in 2020 for good. About 2 years ago, in 2023, it reopened under the new name. I tried it out to see if it was better or improved, but it's not. In fact, it's worse. Now, they charge around $115-$120/month, close an hour early at only 9pm on weekdays, the customer service is so bad it would be laughable if it wasn't so unprofessional at that rate of $115/month. When I joined two years ago, front desk girl wouldn't stop flirting with me when I walked in. I had to complain about it after a month. Tried again recently to see if it improved, but no, it's even worse than two years ago, which was worse than ten years ago. There's no way I'd pay over $75/month for this place, if that, but I'd pay 150-200/month for NAC, Lifetime in Princeton, or other luxury gyms. This is an LA Fitness parading around as luxury. The location and old architecture might convince you at first, but once you've been there a few times, you'll see.

The 1 Star is for this location only. I needed to cancel my membership because the class times weren't working with my schedule and I had started to go to the regular gym whenever I could instead. I had called to ask how far in advance did I need to cancel and the girl on the phone told me as long as I did it before my next bill date I was all set. Okay, great. I came in a week before my bill date to fill out the form in person-they had just ran out of forms and their printer broke-so the girl emailed it to me to fill out and send back no problem (pictured). I was then still charged for the next month. When I called I was finally able to speak to a manager who said if I didn't know who told me that he couldn't do anything since it's in the initial contract that it takes 30 days to cancel. I fully understand there are cancellation rules for every gym-hence me calling to ask in the first place. What is unacceptable is two different times I was told I would not be billed for the next month. Typical "gym" service.

I go once every week or two and love how the class complements my other workouts. Classes are always challenging and every class is different. Some days there is a lot of rowing, other days there are incline runs, sometimes it's two long blocks of cardio and strength, while other days bring more back and forth between the two. I love Wendy's classes but I took Raymond's class for the first time last week and really loved it. His instruction was so clear and his playlist was on point! He announced to the class that the Moorestown and Cherry Hill locations would be merging, which means a bigger variety of instructors, which I enjoy. Everyone runs the class differently so it's fun to mix things up. The front desk staff is always so friendly and helpful; this location truly feels like a community, even though I only get there every so often. For me, it's worth crossing the bridge for a workout that will kick my butt and get my endorphins pumping!

Before I get into any of that, I just want to state the positive~ I have always felt very comfortable going here, and for a small gym, there didn't seem to be anything missing with respect to cardio and resistance machines. The price is right and fresh towels are provided, which is a great feature. Also, I love the look of the gym~ tons of brick and wood with exposed ceilings. They had the industrial look going before every other place had it too. Over the past year or so, there have definitely been some regressions. At least one or two treadmills are out of order at any given time, and of the ones that do work, some of the buttons do not--specifically, the one that slows the belt ("Jane, stop this crazy thing!")! Also, about half the time, one of the treadmills is occupied by the person who is supposed to be working the desk, and not just when the gym is empty. On numerous occasions, there were people waiting for a treadmill while one or two sat out of order and another was taken up by a gym employee. Are you kidding me? One of the resistance machines has a rope attachment that has been worn down to its last few threads for quite some time, one or two of the TVs have been broken for months, etc. These things could all be easily taken care of and should be. It's understandable that not everything is going to be perfect all the time, but after a few of these things started adding up with seemingly no change, I reluctantly decided to move on. In the past, I would have given this gym four stars, but now I can't see giving it more than two with all things considered.

I had nothing to fear- this gym has a diverse group of people, and I have never felt judged there. The facility is clean and bright, the equipment is well-kept (and there's plenty to go around). There is a dedicated room for group classes (mirrors on walls, hardwood dance floor) as well as a dedicated spin room. The staff is friendly and helpful and do not try to sell unnecessary services (which has been typical of my gym experience prior to RH&FC). The price, which is moderate, includes great hours of operation, tanning, a variety of group classes, and a free consultation session with a trainer (w/new membership). They also offer a 10-day trial if you are unsure whether it will be a good fit for you.

I was paired with an older male "trainer" whose comments, behavior, and high-pressure sales tactics were deeply unprofessional and disrespectful. What I experienced was not actual personal training. Instead, the session included manipulative and sexually harassing comments, including contradictory statements about my body and him dramatically claiming he needed to "save my life" Harmful Management Inaction What made this situation so egregious was the direct involvement and subsequent inaction of the manager, Ben. He was sitting nearby the entire time, witnessed the trainer's manipulative and harassing comments, and still chose to sit idly by. This was an incredibly unethical failure of management that actively reinforced the predatory environment. Internal Staff Concerns and Prior History The manipulative behavior was so blatant that when the trainer attempted to involve another male employee, the employee refused, even stating, "This guy does whatever he wants around here and gets away with it." I later learned from staff at a nearby LA Fitness location that multiple members at this Mount Laurel location had previously reported similar concerns. Despite these prior reports, I was still paired with him, which raises serious questions about member safety and oversight at this facility. Positive Exception I do want to note that Jared was very kind, respectful, and professional when I joined the first day, and I truly appreciated his customer service. This gym would be a safer and more welcoming place if more staff demonstrated the same professionalism and care that he does.
