Setting: The theater is comfortable (sometimes you will find that, in theaters, the seats are too small or there isn't enough leg room), and really no seat is a bad one, since the theater is relatively small. Shows: The performances are great. We once attended a show where one of the actresses missed a performance (due to hospital emergency) and I wasn't able to tell who was replacing her until the end of the show! (side note: they had offered a refund, a ticket to another show, or for us to enjoy the show with a replacement) I enjoy the Christmas plays and the interactive plays the most. I don't think I have had a better time since I attended We Gotta Bingo!.

I love their wine and hope it sticks around for many more years. The Noreit is from 2011 and every year it tastes better. It ages very well. Unfortunately we stopped on 5/26/19 and they were closed.

This club used to be great! I started going here when I was six or seven as my parents are still…read moremembers. But I'm sad to say it's been going down hill. The grounds are still well-kept but the service has gotten really, really bad. Prior to last evening, I hadn't been at the club since around Christmas, where the service was slow. The waitress from last Christmas was really nice and apologetic and someone brought us a free appetizer, which was a nice gesture, but the wait was much too long. Fast forward to yesterday evening... a total dumpster fire when it comes to service. Now, a country club should have impeccable service. There was a time when the Kahkwa Club trained their servers well. And I have fond memories of the older servers being wonderful - especially during the fall/spring Sunday buffets (the waitress staff were all older ladies and they were great - they did their job very well and were friendly). Regarding yesterday evening, our waitress, named Nevena K (that's the name printed on the bill) was an awful waitress whose personality is even worse. I don't know what Nevena's damage is, but after we waited 15 minutes for water and my mom asked her where she had been, Nevena's nastiness showed full-force and she made certain to make her malice known by her use of extreme sarcasm in the tone of her voice. Although she had brought rolls to other tables, we weren't given any. And when my mother asked for rolls she made certain to bring us a basket with TWO ROLLS (for three people). Yeah... point taken. You didn't want to give my mom a roll because she got on your bad side. We spoke with Tom about Nevena's attitude problem and he stated we would be given a different waitress. Well, that did not happen. Instead, when our food was brought out my father and I asked Nevena for ketchup for our french fries - and we were not given ketchup; she never brought us any. After we finished our meal Nevena brought us our check, gave us one last dose of sarcasm and we left. My parents are considering canceling their membership after more than 30 years. Personally, I hope they do it as I've had much better service at Denny's. The garbage level of service we dealt with last evening was ridiculous and Kahkwa grill room management should be ashamed they have a member of their staff who speaks to members with such rudeness.

I had a great time visiting the Arrowhead Wine Cellars! The…read moreowner, Nick Mobilia, just happened to be in the fireplace room when I was there. Mr. Mobilia and his daughter Nikki shared all about the winery, and the many jobs that are performed there. Kayla K. was also there, and she is one of their assistant Wine Makers. It was a pure pleasure to visit and learn so much about the Mobilia family history. Everyone I encountered was just great! I left with a new understanding of the region, and what goes into their wine-making and juice business. I left with bottles of a new wine they have called "Unexpected" which was a project that Kayla did. I also came across some Root Beer! Chautauqua Beverages on the label with "Produced by Mobilia Farms Inc." I didn't have root beer in mind at all, now I'm a fan of that also! I will most definitely be back! Award winning wines line the walls, and prices are very reasonable. I recommend Arrowhead Wine Cellars with no reservations at all. Real people, awesome wines! NOTE: I don't think I would have had this great experience during the big wine tasting tours, I imagine things get very busy. I went in the early afternoon on a weekday and had a very pleasant experience.

Went to the legion to be in a costume judging event and was not allowed to take part in the contest. I got up and left the place at that point, On my way out the door I asked the fellow that gave out the prizes what was wrong with my costume that I couldn't be in the judging. He told me that 3 or 4 people walked around and picked the 3 costumes to be shown to the crowd. So much for a "FAIR" contest. I will never believe that it was unbiased. I will NEVER AGAIN go to this legion for another Halloween Party. They have sent me requests to transfer my membership to this legion. Hell no ! I won't be a part of something that can't even hold a fair event. This is the 2nd time in one week I have been denied participating in a contest after all the work and money I have spent. and I spent $65 at that one. If you put a lot of work into a costume and think you have a chance to show it to the crowd for their approval, forget about it. Guess you have to leave Erie to get a fair chance.
