My mom has gone to mora for years When I got my first mora dress, I was hooked! I believe majority of my dresses are from mora haha! I love how the backs of my dresses are open! Comfy! If there is a color I love but doesn't fit, I just ask to have it fitted or possibly made custom! I have about 6 at this point that are custom made. I love them so much! I'm more on the curvy big chested side so sometimes items don't fit but doesn't hurt to ask to see if they can make it bigger. Most of the time they can ! I love that about mora! I have been coming to Mora in south Florida since they put up their gorgeous storefront in Deerfield. Claudia and her sister and so talented! The designs they come up with are so feminine and original. The color palettes and styles change with the seasons, each one more beautiful than the last. Everything is hand made for the Mora girls, by the Mora girls. The locals know about Mora, so if you're traveling and stop by Deerfield beach be sure to do a little shopping with a local favorite! Very adorable clothing, candles and more in this shop. Located in the Cove/in Deerfield. Just be aware that the parking is abysmal and you may want to take your time because people are careless here. The employees are friendly and that's a good thing! I'll go back when I have more time to look around. It does remind me of Anthropologie - they have home decor and housewares as well. They hand make and/or customize amazing clothing for girls, kids and women and have fun and chic jewelry, handbags, candles (they have the amazing volcano candle!) and more. I love their flowy pants that are more comfortable than anything I've ever worn; fun and sexy tops, dresses and have bought several pair of cute sandals. Great Customer Service I purchased a beautiful, unique light weight wrap that I found in a boutique in Stuart, FL. It was my favorite article of clothing. Unfortunately, my dog got to it and put a hole right in the center. I immediately called Mora Surf Boutique and Briana was great at trying to help me find a replacement. No luck, BUT... they generously offered to repair it for me- and didn't charge for the repairs. They made it even cooler by placing a patch where the hole is. I highly recommend this boutique even though I haven't shopped there-yet! I have a few pieces from Mora and all have maintained well. Love my purchases over the years. They also have now opened a sustainable clothing shop down the way too. If you are looking for a gift however not sure what to get, they have gift cards available that they will place in a cute bag. Ordered their Gaucho pants for my girlfriend, when she tried them on they were completely see through, enough to clearly see skin tone. It cost me $10 to return them as well as a $10 "restocking fee" which if you've worked in retail you know is a bullshit way to squeeze an extra $10 out of their customers. You may also be charged an extra fee if you return them with dust on them or folded "incorrectly", please be careful spending your hard earned money here. read more

My favorite little local boutique! I live down in Plantation, FL but often make a trip up to this shopping center for lunch at Two George's and a stop at Mora. It's almost like a mini Anthropologie. They have great clothes and housewares.... home decor and even clothes for your mini me! If you sign up for their mailing list you will get notified of the great sales they have... sometimes even 30-40% off the entire store. The owner and staff are always pleasant and helpful! My review has nothing to do with the clothes or things they have in the store ! They have amazing stuff. I am giving one star for the absolute worst customer service. When I walked in neither one the the ladies acknowledged me to say hello or welcome. Zero. I looked around grabbed a few items to try on and when I ask for certain sizes or a fitting room I felt very uncomfortable to have to ask because the women looked annoyed and bothered by my presence. I came out of the fitting room with a dress on and she bluntly bursted out "that does not fit you". It was a little embarrassing because I've gained some weight soooo thanks for the reminder. Anyhow I did end up buying a few things but totally drove home feeling like I just had pretty woman moment. Worst bathing suit boutique on the planet. They obviously don't cater to women they cater to children. The staff there are also so un-welcoming and cold. But I figured after time of going there is because they already know that the sizes they carry will never fit the average woman. It's like they know we're wasting our time bothering them by coming into the store. I'm about a 4-6 size range and it seems like their large size will fit a girl in her zeros. I am not body shaming the women this store does cater to, however it seems as if they are body shaming anyone above the size 0-1. As if they hate women with a little meat on their bones. I have tried their bathing suits and outfits before, the main issue really is their bathing suits. You can't go anywhere with those suits without being scared your private parts will fly out, you basically have to walk slowly around the pool or beach to avoid flashing someone. Sadly this is the only store I have come across with the best design and styles that I am attracted to buy but they have made it exclusively only for teenagers that haven't gone through puberty. On top of that If you are a bigger size than they offer you have to pay additionally for them to custom make you a size that does fit you on top of their asking price. If you are a beautiful curvy Brazilian or Colombian or of any other ethnicity, don't bother spending your money here, you will be disappointed every time you consider buying from Mora. And to make my point as to how selective they are with their clientele, I have shared on my social media my initial support for this boutique store but never got acknowledged or even thanked for my business, by choosing to buy from them, because I am not similar to the models that they portray on their instagram or of their standard. i used to love this store and had been shopping here since they first opened. the last time i visited i was so disappointed to see a pair of forever21 shorts with the label removed and their own sown on them. i knew this because i owned the shorts myself, and could tell where the old label had been removed. the prices have insanely increased and the difference between an XS and L is maybe half an inch. its not for anyone who may have some meat on their bones. read more
