The door has an alarm on it if a resident try's to open it. The staff is very nice and alway very kind to my dad. He loves the food and is happy with his room. The only thing that could be better is they don't shave him as much as I would like but I understand that there are more pressing situations and a shave can wait. We have a camera in his room and have NEVER seen anyone be mean or disrespectful to dad. I don't know what they pay their employees but they do a good job. My mother in law goes almost daily and they are kind and helpful to her. I don't think any place would be perfect but they are pretty close.

Clean, bright, lots of laughter, lots of hugs and attention. I go at different times of the day and every time I visit, Mom's room is clean, her bed is made, she is clean and dressed. Many of the staff members have worked there for years and are personally invested in each resident. The staff is very helpful to our family, as well, and never hesitate to answer a call, text, or questions that I have about what's best for Mom. They have been our support system and have helped guide us with such empathy and care. I have met many of the other resident's family members who come to visit and their dedication to their loved ones is inspiring and helpful to me as we are new to this journey. I would not want my sweet mom anywhere else but at Colonial Oaks.

Isle has such a good reputation with independent caregivers that one actually told us to leave where we were (located in Mans/Arl border) and told us to check out Isle. We did. In just over 30 days, my father learned to trust again and began speaking. The food is so good, the care is amazing, the atmosphere is just what you would want if your loved one has to be there ... Without their quick response, understanding and coordinating with Hospice, Mom would have never made it home, see all her grandchildren, set on the front porch on last time or eat a #12 from Braum's. Alex and Claudia were so understanding that we had to have 24/7 immediately in order to have hospice in. That was on a Friday. They had it set up for her to come home Monday. There were some cliches on coverage, but Eduardo made sure we had someone there. Much of that help came from Mary who took double shifts, stayed longer and just cared to make sure we had someone with mom. Mary was the one who was with me and Mom as she passed and Mary was the one who sat with me until the funeral home picked Mom up. You can not place a value on that support only be thankful. If you are looking for people who care to be with those you love, I'd recommend Divine Home Care.
