Very disappointed with Morgan & Morgan. They initially accepted my accident case, had me go through over 3 months of treatment, and then suddenly dropped my case almost 100 days later because the driver who hit me -- and damaged two other cars -- didn't have enough insurance coverage. Driver was insured! What makes this even more frustrating is that they should have informed me much earlier (within 30 days) instead of wasting months of my time while I was actively treating and trusting they were handling my case properly. I had a very frustrating experience trying to contact this office during an emergency. My brother, who is a client, is currently in the ICU after a serious medical event and is unable to communicate. I called simply to relay this information to his attorney, but I was told they could not pass along the message or assist in any way. I understand that there are privacy policies in place, but the lack of flexibility or compassion in a situation like this was very disappointing. I wasn't asking for any personal information--just trying to make sure his attorney was aware of his condition. CLIENTS CAN'T WRITE REVIEWS OF BAD EXPERIENCES ON GOOGLE BECAUSE Morgan & Morgan BLOCKS THEM! I think this office was in Orlando. Hired them to handle my wife's Disability. Agent Amyrah Butler was assigned, and we emailed OK at the beginning. Later, she was not communicating because she said had personal issues. Then, they had too much work, so now assigned to Agent Marie Ortiz. We exchanged emails. My wife and I went to every dr. appointment, emailed, faxed and mailed everything and more of what we were asked to do. One time she sent a package to be given to 3 of my wife's drs. The package was jumbled. I had to separate and staple them correctly. Towards the end, I emailed her 3 times in 4 weeks because she never returned my emails. I even asked for a courtesy email. After we received a settlement from Disability, Morgan and Morgan of course, had pocketed their fee. I sent an email to see if M&M was OK with the settlement. (DDS Booklet mentions that.) Nothing. We just kept getting their advertising emails. It felt insulting. A week later, I get an unprofessional call from M&M telling me that I asked for a call back, and that the Agent Ortiz wasn't there for the last month. NO KIDDING! I asked her if M&M was ok with the settlement. She told me something to the effect that they don't do that, only lawyers. I'd bet if we had a big car accident case, we'd have received proper service. DO NOT USE MORGAN & MORGAN! They Are Lazy, Inattentive, and Will NOT Fight for You I hired Morgan & Morgan after being seriously injured in an auto accident where another driver ran a red light and T-boned me. My car flipped. There were multiple eyewitnesses, and cameras at the intersection. It was a textbook case of driver negligence, but due to Morgan & Morgan's complete lack of initiative, I am now stuck with over $40,000 in medical bills and no justice. From day one, they told me, "Focus on treatment, don't miss an appointment, do everything we tell you, and we'll handle the rest." I followed their instructions exactly. What I didn't know is that they were doing nothing behind the scenes to build my case. I was never contacted by a lawyer. The case manager told me I'd hear from her every 30 days. In 93 days, she contacted me once to check in, providing no actual update on my case. She was very unfriendly, dismissive, and clearly overwhelmed or uninterested. In August, I reached out to express concern about the growing stack of medical bills and the fact that liability still hadn't been determined. Her response? "Keep going to the doctors, don't worry, she has $250K in coverage." That reassurance was completely hollow. They had no plan to fight for me, no urgency, and clearly no real engagement in the case. The biggest issue? They never told me that the police report didn't determine liability. Had I known that, I would have immediately requested the intersection footage myself. They robbed me of that chance by doing absolutely nothing while the other insurance company dragged their feet. When I asked about evidence, I was told by the so-called lawyer that I "should've had a dash cam." Unbelievable. Nobody from Morgan & Morgan ever took my full statement. They never tried to obtain the traffic footage. They never conducted thorough witness interviews. And worst of all, I only found out the opposing insurance determined liability as 50/50 when I received a partial payout for my totaled car. Not from Morgan & Morgan, from the insurance company. I had zero involvement in my own case because they actively discouraged me from taking any steps, saying "We'll handle it." But they didn't handle anything. Well I just got screwed by Morgan & Morgan I asked them in 2023 to help me with my social security case they were quick to send me over the agreement but after signing the agreement I had no contact with anyone from Morgan & Morgan I would call and when I would call I would either get a answering service or I would get told that Morgan and Morgan who is a law firm cannot Sue social security. And the reason why they were not doing anything is that I had to be denied. Well I was approved and now they expect me to pay them for me going out and getting all of my medical records me going out and getting all of the information that social security needed me calling to check on my case me sending social security all of my updated medical records so see what I'm trying to say is that I did all the leg work and I'm being charged $4,000 for signing agreement because that's all they did so no please don't waste your time while you wait you listen to a recording talking about people getting poor people in fact getting bad lawyers well I'm one of those poor people that just got screwed l read more

Anyone else has an open case with Social Security Disability with Morgan and Morgan as your attorney(ies)? It's been almost a full year come January 2025 and I have yet to hear anything conclusive from them as my "attorney, who told me I had a case".. it's crickets and when I do reach my new case worker, I'm told no one at SS has accepted my case yet. Never mind, I have worked since i was 16 years old ( 57 now) and paid into SSI and SSI Disability. I can't work, miss medical appointments( because my medical was through my employment and the case manager i spoke with inquiring about the disability asked if i would need to carry on with medical If the case is picked up) and can barely feed myself. Then you're transferred to a legal assistant who will gather all your information and tell you what you need to do. I had a slip and fall with injuries. 3 fractures total and a lot of scars from bleeding. I was assured I had a case and not to worry because I had injuries. I spent close to $1500 out of pocket for emergency visit, MRI's and doctor visits. I never got to speak to an attorney for a whole month until she called and said, "we had a round table and decided not to take the case". Waste of time! First I'll say that this law firm is not very personable and everything is pretty much a script. 2nd I definitely did not feel like I was defended to the highest extent. 3rd I was constantly pressured to sign documentation that I didn't find agreeable. 4th I was not made whole and still have outstanding medical debt well over $100K to the day. 5th I was only awarded 100,000 and the girl to over 30%.
