These guys are an unprofessional joke. 6 weeks they dicked me around then today I get a nasty call that they are no longer representing the case. After weeks of getting the runaround, being ghosted by the attorney Tyler, no follow-ups to my emails, voicemails, texts, and paralegals quitting without any notice, etc. I'm just not going to let this go. The Adjuster for the gym where I got injured, initially offered me $3000 and now I'm out everything because of Morgan & Morgan. I was also just suddenly told by the lame attorney that I can't pursue an injury case because I signed a liability contract with the gym. Yet this very team told me weeks ago about all the lawsuits for injuries that this fitness center had in Southern California. My Lawyer Mark Ruddy was incompetent and lost my case. We had to have a continuance because his assistant quit and erased all my documents. My second hearing did not go much better. Mark told me not to argue and only answer questions asked directly to me. He said it was his job to argue my case as my counsel. The doctor consulting on my hearing who has never met me or examined me disputed several doctors who have examined me and diagnosed my conditions. Mark failed to dispute or contest her claims in any meaningful way. He dropped my case. This is a big firm that cherry picks what cases they find to be slam dunk cases. It's a call center at first to weed out cases. I was transferred to someone, explained the facts of my case then transferred to someone else who sounded like they were a call center outsourced in India. The call dropped so I had to call back. Luckily the system saved info previously discussed with the first person, so I completed the consultation then received call next day saying they could not take my case and asked if I wanted referrals for other firms that may be able to take on the case. I confirmed and heard nothing more from anyone. I understand the nature of efficiency to find cases that are sure fire wins but don't tell me you will do something (refer to other local firms) then go dark. Already bad enough there are too many hands stirring the pot for intake it comes off terribly impersonal to have to explain the scenario over and over again. However, it was not until late January that they informed me they could not take it, which caused me to miss the deadline to file my claim and also lose the opportunity to hire another attorney in time. I broke my ankle at a trampoline park and didn't sign a waiver plus the trampoline had an area with a taped "X " where I fell and dislocated my ankle. Do not hire these faceless jerks. You will never speak with an actual attorney- you'll only ever speak with a call center phone representative (whose command of the English language is questionable at best). These people are either dishonest crooks or they're completely and utterly incompetent. I signed two (yes two) separate retainer agreements with Morgan and Morgan to represent me in the Google Incognito case. I signed one of those retainer agreements with Morgan and Morgan on 4/4/24 and one on 2/28/25 (because when I called them in February of 2025 to inquire about case status, these idiots couldn't find the Google Incognito retainer agreement I originally signed with them on 4/4/24). I have in my possession fully executed copies of BOTH retainer agreements--both have Docusign stamps showing their legitimacy as well as signatures of all parties to the Agreement, including Morgan and Morgan). I've attached copies of both fully executed retainer agreements, with my name redacted for privacy reasons. Morgan and Morgan emailed me (through their email mass marketing list) an announcement that they had won a jury verdict for $425 million in that Google Incognito case for which I hired them to represent me. And for which I have TWO retainer agreements in my possession showing their representation of me in that case. I've attached screenshots of their announcement that they won $425 million in the Google Incognito case. They clearly owe me money from the lawsuit yet haven't paid me a dime. When I called today to inquire about status of my payment from the $425 million that Morgan and Morgan won in that Google Incognito case, I was once again told that "they don't see any documents on file for me/they have no signed retainer agreements with me". These people are either (a) dishonest crooks, or (b) completely incompetent. Whether it's (a) or (b), since I haven't been paid and they claim they don't represent me in the case from which they won $425 million (for plaintiffs such as me and the other plaintiffs they represent), and given that their call center won't let me speak with an attorney or anyone else who works at their actual law firm, I'm left with no choice but to file a formal complaint with the State Bar and also sue them for malpractice, since they owe me money from the Google Incognito case and yet I'm told by the only person I'm allowed to speak with when I call their phone number that they have no record of representing me. Didn't even watch the footage. The footage showed the other person hitting my car. I went to court myself and won. They appealed and got a lawyer and I represented myself and won. The owners of that dog came out, apologized and admitted that this was not the first time this had happened with this doc. The provided their information for any bills that might occur. My first contact with Morgan & Morgan was on 10/31/2025. On 11/14/2025, I mailed documents and photos per Ms. Alyssa Cutkelvin's request. On the 24th of November, I contacted Ms. Cutkelvin and was told that my lawyer was Ms. Nan, who had 100 cases on her desk and receives new cases daily. This was the last time I had contact with Ms. Cutkelvin. Today is 12/31/2025, and I'm not sure whether Ms. Nan has had time to review my case or whether it has been accepted. Bob Smith, an attorney at Morgan & Morgan, wrote to me on 12/14/2025 and asked, "I am just checking in with you to make sure we are meeting your expectations and needs." They took my case from an Auto Accident in Jan 2026. I've done everything they've asked of me in order to send a Formal Demand Letter to the at-fault driver's insurance provider. But Morgan & Morgan has gone completely dark on me, no communication, no demand letters sent, the case manager and principal attorney were both changed to new people, they literally are not responding to me after I just started treatment. My case has been going since 2022 and my attorneys and Paralegal's have been switched probably 30 times. We've gotten almost nowhere there's been several mistakes that have happened along the way. I've literally had a deposition scheduled and the day before the Attorney I had went to another firm just like the other Five attorneys before him did and that was two years ago. I've yet to have a deposition. I have to explain my entire case in detail trying to remember everything from 2022 every few months when they decide to switch paralegals and attorneys because they apparently move onto other firms. This firm is way too large and your case will get flip-flopped back-and-forth so many times that you'll have a Paralegal one day who ends up being an attorney for you the next. I've had to look at case net anytime I wanted an update because I've had paralegals never return a call for nearly a year and when you finally get in touch with them and ask them all the questions that you've had for the past year, I had her literally asked me " Don't you have a job? Don't you have something else to do with your time?" I was completely flabbergasted.
