I absolutely LOVED this place. We stopped in on a late evening for some waffles and fell in love! It is the cutest, most cuddly place I've been to in Norway. Everything felt old, and just as it would be in grandmas house. I also loved the waffle - so good with the strawberry jam and sour cream. Go for the unlimited cake and coffee buffet (Sunday afternoons from 12-5, I believe), but be prepared for crowds. Get there early and stake out a spot! You pay a set price (79kr, last I checked) and can get unlimited refills of tea/coffee (which are endless), as well as cake. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because sometimes the baristas are slow to refill the cake plates once they run out (trying to make the cake supply last longer, perhaps?). Overall, it's a great treat for an otherwise sleepy Sunday afternoon. Adorable atmosphere, and a fun place to go with friends. If I remember correctly, the cake choices for the buffet include: carrot cake, chocolate cake, cheesecake, apple cake, and a mousse cake of sorts. read more
