Stopped by on the way home from Joshua Tree to check out the new mercantile exhibit just added to the Morongo Basin Historical society's museum. Had the nicest tour of the whole facility led by several of the board members who were just wrapping up a meeting! They all had great information and wonderful personal/historical connections to Landers and the surrounding area. If you have time, I'd highly recommend getting to know a little more about the history of the land from these kind and knowledgeable folks!!! read more
