Poached Scotch egg wrapped in mince lightly fried then baked! Along with potatoes several links and thick cut bacon. Plus fresh bread toast and butter. Topped off with a large Flat White! Great Sunday breakfast and a wonderful local spot for hanging out. Lots of families here and so relaxed! I got here a little before 0800 and by the time I left the place was getting really busy. There's a gorgeous outdoor courtyard or upstairs area to dine in. Be warned though, this is one popular lady so she fills up quickly during peak dining times. My first go at degustation - I was very impressed and I am now well and truly hooked on this way of dining. From the 8 courses enjoyed, it is hard to choose my favourite dish but I would say either the pan fried local snapper (so fresh!) or the angus beef brisket. Both cooked to perfection. My only complaint - and it's a strange one - the servings of wine could have been smaller. Serving a generous glass of wine with 6 of the courses was more than we could drink and left me a little too full to enjoy the desert. This was served on dry unbuttered toast, nothing on the side and not even any garnish that may pick up this sad and lonely looking little breakfast. The bread and baked goods from here are incredible and the food is nice. At the moment we're not able to dine in so I feel as though I've not had a proper chance to try. The covid procedure is a bit of a pain in the butt, and to my mind it makes their internal procedures somethin for customers to navigate (having a baked goods order line and a food order line - I want both!) Hopefully they switch back to normal soon. But I can't fault the food, coffee and service :)
