I will say that although they do not repair non-precious metals, they did let me know which of my pieces they could not repair and why. I visited seeking assistance with a Murano glass picture frame, specifically to repair a broken brass stand that needed welding. The woman behind the counter, who identified herself as the "owner" (I believe she may be the owner's daughter, Jeanette Alcazar), was completely uninterested in even looking at the item. When I asked to speak with the jeweler, she curtly informed me that "he's busy and can't speak with you," without offering to check or see if he could spare a moment. What's most concerning is the total lack of effort to assist or direct me to someone who could help. Instead of showing any willingness to assist, she treated me as though my inquiry was an inconvenience. It's shocking to see such disregard for basic customer service, especially from someone who owns or manages a business. If this is the level of professionalism they promote, it's no wonder the business seems to be struggling. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for quality service. **Precisely the type of arrogance and condescending tone I was met with in store. Good sign for sure. I told them I needed a prong fixed and they took a look. Told me all prongs needed to be worked on to insure I did not loose my stone. We have used Morrell Jewelers in Boerne since 2019 and they are wonderful! We came in originally to buy a bigger diamond for my wedding ring for our 45th anniversary. I was hesitant because I didn't want to exchange my original stone so they suggested to create a beautiful necklace with it! The prices were very reasonable and I just love both items! Last week we went back to see if they could create some earrings to match a different necklace I had and they were so helpful again! I love this company and we will always use them. Went to Morrell Jewelry to have my band removed from my Rolex watch. It took the "jeweler" less than four minutes to remove the band and he charged me $50.00 plus tax. I brought it there to have it cleaned and maybe polish and I was curious as what it was worth since we will always hold on to it.
