I wish I could give less than one star. I just had an appt with Dr. Scott M. Gioioso in the Succasunna office and I have never experienced such lack of care from a physician. I was in the office for no more than 15-20 minutes with maybe 5 minutes of that being time spent with the doctor. He walked in, didn't introduce himself, didn't ask any questions about history or activity and barely touched my foot. Offered an injection and clearly was not going to say what the injection was until I specifically asked. I find out he is billing me for a new patient appt of 30-44 minutes which is absurd given that he spent no more than 5 minutes with me and did absolutely nothing for me. He essentially told me I can do steroid injections, get better sneakers and a night brace and live with it. My husband has suffered with plantar fasciitis for years so I know there are many other options. I left speechless at how terrible that experience was. DO NOT go to this doctor. He clearly does not like what he does. I have never experienced such a horrible physician experience and that includes my experience as a patient and working in the medical field. read more

Dr Scott was great, I hadn't been there in 5 years but he remembered me. Had pain in my feet from planter fasciitis and although I had orthopedics he recommended a shot of cortisone. The Dr took a sample of my nail and told me would call me in a couple of days. Waited 2 weeks, no call. Called their office and no one could find results of sample. No apologies, nothing. read more

I was scheduled for surgery and the surgery coordinator did not bother to contact my insurance and get approval. The day before, I called my insurance company and they told me to cancel the surgery and NOT go to that office! I have gone elsewhere. read more

My first appt. at this practice and I not only was not seen till over an hour after my appointed time, the Dr. Was in a hurry and didn't even wait to listen to what I was there for. Heard me say I had seed corns and reached for a scalpel and started digging into my feet with no numbing agent whatsoever! I told him he was hurting me, didn't really care. I left with bloody feet and could hardly walk. Will not return to this office and will also file a complaint with my insurance carrier. read more
