On this day I saw Dr Bear Told the Dr some of my issues and he proceeded with a physical inspection of my feet. No X-rays no ultrasound. He told me I have 3 different conditions - one of those involving extensive surgery. The area in which I had all my pain was pretty far from the area where he said I had all my issues - he said it was all related. He's the one with the medical degree so I can only believe him. I was fitted for orthotics that took forever to be made and I always had issues with them. They cut into the back of my feet pretty good. 2 years later my feet have gotten worse. I thought maybe it was time to look into that massive surgery (1 foot at a time as I would be in a cast for at least 3-4 months). I chose to go to a different Doctor (Dr Gewirtz in Park Ridge). I had a proper appointment with X-rays, ultrasound etc and was told I only have 1 of the 3 conditions Dr Bear said I had and that no surgery was needed. He addressed the pain I had and was able to assess that it was from somethings else. Anyway, I think Morris Podiatry caters to a MUCH older crowd and probably has great success in diagnosing their client base. I was a bit too young for this office.

When I told her I was told they could assist with breaking down the bill she continued yelling I advised her that shes being unprofessional and then she hangs up on me! How professional! Besides being rude and unprofessional CAROLYN SEYLER is obviously incompetent. I regret going to this office. I should know what I am paying for. Take my advise and do NOT support this business. I received a call from Marife who stated she is working from home today. Marife explained everything to me specifically that I haven't been charged the insoles at this time, the percentage my insurance covers and that I have to pick them up first then they submit to the insurance company. I made the payment on the balance she confirmed my email which was incorrect she stated she would make the corrections and would emailed me my receipt. I then advised her of what had occurred Marife stated she would speak to the doctor regarding my concerns. The customer service was the total opposite of what I received from CAROLYN SEYLER. Karen and Lauren are both very knowledgeable and have the most caring bedside manner. Dr. Iammatteo is one of the most competent, experienced, kind and confident doctors I have ever encountered. He managed my high risk pregnancy without any issues. Nurses Amy, Sharon, Paige were all lovely and caring. Liz, Isabel, Karla and Debbie at the front desk were always patient and attentive with all the scheduling needs. Dr. Iammatteo managed my high risk pregnancy without any issues. My husband and I are going to be forever grateful to him and his wonderful team of nurses and front desk staff who all bent over backwards to accommodate all requests.

I've never been to this office as I'm always flip flopping with gynos because of poor experiences with customer service, comfortableness, feeling rushed, feeling pressured to go on birth control or to get the Guardsil shot. HOWEVER, with this place, this was not the case at all! From the beginning to end, I was more than satisfied with my experience. The appointment was easy, parking was great, the check in was quick and everyone was pleasant to speak to. I literally waited in the waiting room for MAYBE 3 minutes and was taken earlier than my appointment! I was thrilled. Emily was sooo sweet and took the time to figure out what was going and was very determined to find a solution! I loved that. She was very understanding, took the time to speak with me and hear me probably ramble on, but she did not rush the visit at all. She made me feel very comfortable, too. I am so grateful that I was recommended to Emily because I will not be going anywhere else!! I highly recommend Emily 110%!!! Even after my appointment I had a question and she followed up so quick! I've never had a guarantor in my life, and I feel like my privacy has been violated as I didn't consent to my bills being sent to him. I caution anyone who wants to make an appointment. They have a new system that seems to be a nightmare for all staff as my bill he received wasn't showing on their end anyway (makes this HIPAA violation even more disturbing since I wasn't supposed to receive a bill - all my services were paid for by insurance and this wasn't an EOB).

I've been with him for all three of my pregnancies and for each one I was thankful to have him by my side. For my first pregnancy, my daughter ended up stuck during labor and since I told him my birth plan was to have a vaginal birth, he made every attempt in making that happen. He was incredibly patient and made swift movements to make sure she and I were safe. Ultimately we had to use forceps and just a few hours after her birth, the other doctors and pediatricians in the hospital were in shock that she didn't have a mark or indication of being birthed through forceps. For my third pregnancy, in what seemed like a quick labor ended up being a 16 hour day. He stayed with me every step, checking on me very frequently, and I felt calm and reassured we'd be ok knowing he was there with me. My son ended up having the umbilical cord around his neck but Dr. Steer calmly and swiftly made magic happen by having him born safely through another vaginal birth. Sadly, my second pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and needed a D&C. To make matters worse, it was during Covid when I wasn't allowed anyone to accompany me. Dr. Steer was a comforting face through a dark time and reassured me all would be ok then and in all future pregnancies. I've often joked with him that I wasn't sure how he could have other patients because he makes me feel like I'm the only one he's focusing on. Through long labors, deliveries, and recoveries, not to mention my pregnancy appointments, I don't think my body let him sleep or eat! Yet if you speak with him or his wonderful staff, you'll always hear how he just delivered multiple pregnancies! He always put me, my health, and my babies before himself. It's his comforting personality, incredible knowledge and patient care that I wouldn't trust our lives with anyone else.
