This is mainly a food store with a small section devoted to non-food items. The range in these latter departments is small and somwhat restricted. If you want a bigger range you should visit either the Hall Road, Hull store or, if you want the full monty, the newish branch in St Stephen's in the centre of Hull. I think it's generally fairly pricey on the food front. I'd recommend Morrisons if you are counting the pennies and own a car. The fruit and veg can be very hit and miss in terms of ripeness and quality. Stocks can also get rather low sometimes. The bakery is OK but again it's getting very expensive.

Morrisons is set out in a rather unique way, you walk into 'market street' to start with and this is where you can find all your fruit and vegatables. and just like the tv adverts tell you there is a fish monger and butchers, who will cut your meat and prepare your chosen fish for you. They also have a brilliant salad counter where you can pick up lunch to go in a handy little container and for those with larger appetites they to hot roasted and baked goods such as whole chickens, ribs, sauagess, pies, sausage rolls and many more mouth watering offerings! Morrisons also from time to time have fantastic 'deals' on such as 3 for 2's and buy one get one free's. I think it's amougst the best super markets for these types of deals. The food in the cafe is ok but for weeks and weeks one of the coffee machines has been out of order the other coffee machine is painfully slow. The customer toilets however are smelly and more often than not dirty. Sunday 27th ladies toilet no toilet roll, bits of paper all over the floor, end toilet seat covered in skid marks, wash basins dirty. there are sheets on the back of the door for toilet monitoring and at 11.30 the sheet had already been signed off for 11am, 12pm and 1pm which is really not good enough. Bearing in mind COVID is still around the toilets should be clean. Who ever had falsified this sheet needs to be reprimanded .
