The other facilities include the instore butcher and cafe. The products are standard from their own basic range to their middle priced range and to the well known brands. They have weekly special offers on and these are usually very easy to find at the end of the aisles. The staff are friendly and helpful although there can be queues at the weekend. I do find the car park to be tight in places though so take your time.

It's very shiny and new, in that way that only Tesco stores seem to achieve. With a good selection of food, snacks, alcohol and other drinks, newspapers, etc, it's a great addition to the area. There are a few check-outs and another self-service check-out, so you're set even when it's busy. It's a bit smaller than Tesco Expresses in the city centre (Ingram St and Sauchiehall St in particular), but has all the same amenities. There are also 2 cash machines (RBS I think, and LInk, so you won't be charged extra). Since you previously would have had to walk all the way to the Clydesdale on the Main Street or the Bank of Scotland at the corner of Barrachnie, this is a good spot. It's open 6am til 11pm daily - perfect for when you realise you forgot the milk!

The store is bright and modern and there is ample parking places, including disabled and child and parent spaces. it is the main shop in a little shopping complex also including a chemist, a tanning studio and a chip shop as well as a popular Chinese take away. I like this shop, especialy if I am in a hurry, because it stocks a good cross section of products which, because the store is smaller, what you want can be eaiser to find. It also tends to be less busy than the other Cumbernauld store making it quicker to get what you need. There is also a filling station at this location and both are open 24hrs. The staff in both are helpfull and polite.
