The old one was kind, completely understanding. But the new one, had never cared about students or their mental health, i had a friend, who was problematic because of her mental health, yet they didn't try helping her. Ms. Greenstein, Ms. Cox, Ms. Childers, Ms. W/Swagger/ Mr. Schweitzer, Ms. Donlan, and my favorite, Mr. Alcos. These were my teachers. Everyone pf the teachers were caring and genuinely loved their students, and halped them along. The librarians were nice, as well as the custodians. The yard dutys always keep kids out of danger. The campus is relatively clean, and the playgrounds, blacktop, sandbox, track, and grass areas are all avaliable to kids during recess. Overall, the teachers, staff, and everyone, along with the campus are amazing.

This school was just starting out when I enrolled my gifted child there for 9th grade. They gave us the impression this school was pushing children to go above and beyond traditional schools - yeah right. My child was hospitalized and they gave her several in-completes for classes like gym that she missed while in the hospital for several months. They were extremely disorganized and had no idea how to handle her situation. Now, over a year later, the situation is the same. Now, this star student that is on the Principal's List and had a 4.0, now has a 2.5 for that year and is still missing credits needed to graduate. I will be enrolling her into a different school. Let's just hope her credits transfer.

There's many teachers and staff members with no teaching credentials or past experience with teaching. I remember there were a couple of teachers who pretty much did not know how to handle situations. One being a young Mathematics teacher who did not know how to handle the class when a fight happened between two classmates. Usually she would just cry and that made me feel bad. I blame the school for accepting her and bringing her to such a bad environment. A year later she was fired because she was not fit to be a teacher. Honestly that's not on her. Another teacher we had was this Chemistry teacher and he didn't teach us much. All we did was do our work on the computers. NO LECTURES and honestly I did not learn a thing. Seriously, please don't bring teachers to a place where they can be easily humiliated and bullied by disrespectful and immature students. Not only that but the principal, Kevin Bradshaw, is the worse. This guy, former drug addict and all, was made principal without even having a teaching credential! That is just disgraceful. Not only that but he was such a narcissist. He dragged about the second chance in life he got after getting free from drugs and would even have us watch his pathetic documentary like 5 times in our Freshman year. Honestly, this guy thinks like he won a Nobel Prize or earned himself something SO BIG out his little "redemption story arc". He also showed poor leadership. Most of the time the guy was never to be seen in campus. At the time the school had two buildings and since I was at the main building, we thought he was at the other one. But it turns out that the Freshman from that building never knew who Bradshaw was. So makes me question where and what the heck this guy did throughout the whole day. But whenever he was around, oh it was a show! He would always yell and scold the students. And whenever somebody opposed what he said, they were immediately shut up by him. From what I've heard, he was also like this when he pulled out somebody to his office. BOTH STUDENTS AND TEACHERS. He would scold them for minutes and he never let others speak. He never listened to their part of the story. To add to this, he would have his admins vulture around the campus. They would enter EVERY classroom EVERYDAY. They would watch the students and whenever a student was caught doing something they shouldn't be doing (ex: eating Cheetos, having a hood on, being on the phone, etc), they would immediately pull out the teacher from their class and have them be scolded by Bradshaw. This is just terrible. Not only that but also, one of the teachers quitted because he just singled out for a student wearing a hoodie. And his class was interrupted because he was taken out to speak with Bradshaw. I also had another teacher who secretly told students how his mental health couldn't handle the harsh and abusive nature of the principal's talks. There's a lot to talk about this school but yeah, this school is the worse and I hope it gets shut down for good. Tired of how people praise this school for what it's not. Also, I have MANY other stories about the school and its cartoony principal and admins.

Also all my teacher like Mrs. Straus, Mrs Littig, and Mrs. Mortier are awsome. My twin Francesca's teachers are Ms. Best,Mr Palmer, and Mr beach. Sadly Mrs. Mortier and Mr. Palmer are not there anymore. The old principal Dr.D was awsome so cool if anyone ever messed with you she would take care of it. She does what a principal does . Now Mrs. Cotter is cool I think she does what principal does but she is very easy on kids just not on me or my sister.

This can only be a testament to the amazing, loving, nurturing, motivating staff. EVERY SINGLE member of the staff TRULY loves their job and their school. From the crossing guard staff saying good bye as we walk home to the warm smiles given out by everyone we see. The principal Mr. Iriqui has a huge presence on campus and I've heard him greet and say good bye to each child by name. It's one of those places that you go to and you can really tell the staff enjoys what they do. Our youngest had a tough start to TK and the staff really embraced her and made her feel at ease. Now she's sad that it's the weekend and no school for 2 days. The school has so many activities for the children as well as the parents. There are seminars on various topics regarding parenting and education and are really informative. There's always an activity for the kids incorporating something from the STEAM curriculum. As a father, I'm encouraged to know my children are in good hands and are being molded for a bright future.

Safety and a healthy learning environment is top priority for everyone. I was blessed to help out with picture day last week and got to meet all the kids and teachers from every grade level. This is truly a special place. The kids were all so well behaved. Their teachers were amazing at keeping large groups of kids calm without being nasty. The children with special needs, omgosh the love that poured out of every single teacher was unbelievable. All the teachers know these kids and truly love them and the children definitely know it! The principal, Mrs. Rabasco is fairly new to the school. This is only her 2nd year. She is amazing. From day 1 she knew my child, she knows all the other children by name as well. She has kids standing in lines to give her hugs. She is also completely immersed in the neighborhood even though she doesnt live here. She attends the Spring Valley community meetings and does everything she can to help the neighborhood that La Presa is in , which in exchange helps the families and kids here as well. This place is truly an amazing school and everyone should give it a shot before judging a school without even meeting the staff and taking a tour. LOVE La Presa Elementary !!!!m This will be our school of CHOICE for as long as we live here.

When we registered with the district, we were in a zone located directly in the middle of two schools. At first thought, we believed the bigger school was the best option for our child. We were pleasantly wrong. Parkview staff has been excellent. I'd like to thank the principal, Ms Valdivia, and teacher Ms. Stanek. You both are amazing. Our family is forever appreciative for you. The front office, the nurse, the teachers, everyone is amazing. Thank you for all you do. This school has a small town feel. Every staff knows every student.
