Morse Lake Marina - Noblesville, Indiana

It's unfortunate to write this because we had high hopes, but it is what it is. We rented a boat on the 4th of July and we're told we have the newest boat they own. Perfect....until we took it out. Boat number 3 had engine issues. I'm not a mechanic, but, I know their pontoons are supposed to go at least 10 mph. We even raced a kayaker and lost. Not kidding. The RPM's would run high but we wouldn't go any faster than 7-8mph. So, therefore we had to deal with large wake from other boats because we were basically idle the whole time. We then were stuck due to the engine not starting. After about 10 min of fiddling with everything trying to figure out the issue, we got lucky and the engine started so we could return in a timely manner. Once returned, we reported the issue and their own employee admitted that something was wrong. We were told to call the next day to figure out if there could be some sort of compensation due to not being able to use the boat like we wanted to. Once I called I was told they couldn't do anything because the boat went above 10 mph when they "tested it out". Absolutely unacceptable. The manager told me that since we "didn't bring the boat back to replace with another one, there's nothing we can do". The reason why is because before we left one of the employees said they booked all of their boats. Stating that it was going to be a very busy day. All in all we were a little dissatisfied with the boat, but more importantly the lack of customer service. We made sure to return the boat in better shape than when we received it (mind you we found bottle caps in the cup holders and mud on the seats). I hope the next customers has a better experience. We rented a pontoon boat for the day, everyone was very friendly, service was great and the rental process was quick and easy. The web site is super informative and full of information. The women who manages rentals is very kind and the staff at the rental check out and check in stations are all very friendly and easy to chat with. COVID: the marina does makes extra cleaning accommodations and limits the number of people in each boat to allow for distancing however none of the staff wore masks or gloves and I'd recommend bringing your own cleaning supplies to wipe down frequently touched places. Additionally, we grabbed lunch at the marina restaurant. All staff were in masks, distancing was practiced and the staff clearly made accommodations to keep everything clean, etc. Overall, it was a really great experience. We'll definitely rent again through the marina. read more

This is for the boat rental portion: We were greeted by Monica who was incredibly friendly and clearly very excited to host us. We were shown to a brand new pontoon that was incredibly comfortable and easy to drive. The "overview" of the boat was thorough and detailed. The price for a full day was unbeatable, too! What a great way to spend a day. You're able to drive around the lake or anchor in a little cove near the marina to swim. Ended the day with dinner at the restaurant which everyone enjoyed. We can't wait to come back this summer! read more

Who doesn't love a good lake? I know I do. I have rented pontoon boats from this lake before & each time it never disappoints. We rented a boat for my birthday & they hold 10 people, making it out to about $30 per person if you're wanting to split it, not bad! They got new boats this summer & we were lucky enough to get one of them! The workers are always really friendly. The boats are always clean. While we were going through the checklist to make sure we had everything before we went out in the lake, I accidentally broke the table on the boat because I was leaning on it (oopsy). There is a damage deposit that you have to pay before just in case (you get it back if everything is fine at the end) and I thought I would not be getting that back because of my little incident. When we got back to return the boat, they said I didn't have to pay anything!! I was super shocked. They said that there have been like 3 other tables that have been broken because they were made very cheap so they were going to just remove them from all the boats. Such great customer service! I really enjoy this lake because it's not as crowded as other lakes suck as Geist, and it very easy to navigate in with a boat. You can rent from 9-5 or 10-6. You also have to pay the gas when you returned but for us it was only $20 bucks. If you want to enjoy a great day on a lake with some friends, come to Morse lake & make sure to bring an auxiliary cord for some good music! read more

Drop fee is kind of pricey... $20 during the week and $35 during the weekend. The other ramp is very nice though, it has three lanes. It also has jet ski ramps which are super convenient. read more

They put no money back into the marina. Staff that takes your money is rude. All the cleats are broken to tie your boat, so only a boat or two can enter the lake at a time. If there were more lakes around here we would never come back. It's a shame this is the only option besides Geist, which is no better! read more

They ran out of room but proceeded to let us through anyway and halfway through docking our boat was told we had no where to park while they were letting people into the restraunt just fine didn't get to go on the water and we drove an hour to get there what a waste of time read more

After working with Lakeview Marina for over 20 years, switched to Morse Lake and glad I did. Lakeview has gone downhill, and Morse lake is much better at service and customer care. read more

Very helpful and have always been nice and polite on the phone and in person. We had to cancel due to weather and they made it easy, and it didn't cost us a penny. We've rented pontoon boats there several times and it's always a great experience. Highly recommended. read more
