After a disappointing experience at Morton's last week, I shared a review about what happened. Their team reached out quickly to make things right, and I truly appreciated the prompt follow-up and genuine effort to resolve the situation. The front-of-house manager, Laura, kindly invited us back for bubbles and bites--and this is exactly the level of hospitality I had hoped for. From the moment we arrived, Laura was welcoming and compassionate. We were seated right away, and David took excellent care of us at the bar. This visit was a complete turnaround--zero complaints. We enjoyed the chicken and burger sliders as part of the Veuve Clicquot promotion, and both were delicious. We also decided to try the ribeye steak along with the smoked gouda and bacon au gratin potatoes--everything was fantastic. I loved my raspberry apple martini and a glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne as well. This was a much better dining experience all around. I'd recommend visiting during the week if possible, as the bar area was far less crowded than on the previous Friday we went. Overall, thank you to Morton's Atlanta for going above and beyond to smooth over what had been a rough start. The hospitality was greatly appreciated.

Morton's, what is going on here? My experience with Morton's goes back 13 years. I loved the Hartford, CT location in the heart of the city on 30 State House Square. It was so good. I loved the service and the food. I think it reminded me of an old Italian mob restaurant with bow tie servers and everything. I didn't know that location closed a year later in 2014. Shame. They were so good. There is no way this Atlanta location is the same chain. My friend that lived in CT, knows how much I loved that Morton's and thought of me when she saw on Instagram they were heavily promoting a special for January. Influencers were heavily promoting this special with Veuve Clicquot, which is one of my favorite champagnes, an adult happy meal for $29. That was an amazing deal. They promoted it showing juicy sliders chicken or beef, garlic fries, and champagne or a martini with the signature yellow label packaging. The food was nothing like they advertised. We got ZERO packaging, which in my opinion, if you don't have it all don't sell it. When we ordered it they did not mention they had no packaging. I can get FRIES AND A BURGER/CHICKEN SANDWICH from Chic-Fil-A! More convenient, and way cheaper. We are here for all the things. Instead, we got trash. Not only was it not presented as advertised, which is why we came in the first place, the food was horrible! I am beyond shocked. I had the chicken sliders. Listen, I don't know if it was undercooked/ overcooked, but it was hard. The buns were hard like stale, and the taste was forgettable. For this special, you were required to sit at the bar. The bar was full but the restaurant was not at all. Meaning, the kitchen should not be busy. They should be making these tiny meals fresh. Why were the fries cold? String fries get cold fast, however, it was all cold. Normally, I would send them back, and I wish I sent the entire meal back the more I think about it, but I was ready to go. I only ate some of the fries, and picked around the two sliders. They were horrible. To compensate for my hunger and unsatisfactory Veuve Clicquot collab special meal I didn't enjoy/eat, I figured, let's try the rockefeller oysters. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED THE SERVER/BARTENDER with the ear plugs, do they come out sizzling on a hot plate/cast iron? Which is how I like them, he said yes. Is he new? Had he said no, I would have ordered something else. These oysters came out on a bed of salt! Cold, dry, and tasteless. They cannot be serious. This took the cake for me. These are not what I expected. You want real and delicious rockefeller oysters, go to the Coalition in Alpharetta to see what I'm talking. These, terrible. Never again. Writing this review just upset me all over again. The bill with tip came up to $135. I'm very upset I wasted my money and this Morton's ruined my favorable view of their restaurant. There are too many steakhouse competitors for them to move like this. I Do not recommend. Skip this special. Nothing special about it. They advertise to get regular patrons in the door, but only provide quality food to the influencers they pay. Ridiculous. This is a textbook case of reality vs. the internet. Complete miss.

Sometimes these high end steakhouse chains get a bad rap. I ate here while at a meeting and the service, food and drinks couldn't have been better! Everyone enjoyed their meals and my steak was perfect. Only weird thing that happened was that both of the waiters mistakenly brought me a refill for my martini and when the second one saw I already had one, she took it back to the bar and said they'd keep it cold, in case I wanted it later! Didn't order another, but who would have wanted an old martini? Lol!

Had a lovely time at Morton's. My only caveat is that my food was not a hot as I like it. But it was flavorful and fresh tasting. My steak was cooked to perfection and my lobster tail was tender and succulent. I like salt, a lot, but it might have been a tad too salty for some. Our server was bubbly and very helpful. The restaurant itself was chic and quite nice. We were slightly over come with smoke from the kitchen but I expect that for a steakhouse it was par for the course. I had two cocktails that were amazing! The State and the Old Fashioned. It was a delightful night all and all.

Absolutely recommend sitting in the bar. The bartender is so friendly and an absolute master at mixed drinks. Such an enjoyable experience. He was attentive and made sure food was brought out at a good pace and ensured to check in when my drink was low.

Overall, let me say this is the first time that I have been in this area and tried this restaurant. It was very nice being around the corner from the Hyatt Regency, which I stayed at and I love this area. It was a little cold, but not too bad so we went to the restaurant made a reservation no problem getting in. They seated us served us some great bread with butter we had our drinks our server. Jordan was very very attentive took care of all our needs. Make sure everything was done just perfectly and because of her this place will get at least a four star and possibly a five star when I come back and do another review Overall I would say if you are in this area. You need to come try this place out you won't be disappointed. Ask for Jordan. She'll take care of you and there was another little pretty lady that helped us with our bread and making sure our drinks were filled overall this place is great. I will put up some pictures so you could see when in Atlanta Come to Morton steakhouse and try anything and everything that you like you won't be disappointed.

The sea bass was delicious as was the truffle fries. The waiter was very attentive and made sure to check on us and give his recommendations. It is definitley a nice restaurant so dress in business casual!

Enjoyed a nice dinner here last night. Service was pretty good, house bread was nice and fresh, the ocean platter was a nice appetizer before our steaks. The 12 oz Midwest beef filet mignon were just as we asked, medium rare and delicious.

    8 oz. Center-Cut Filet Mignon

Food was horrible. I ordered the 8-ounce filet mignon and asked for it to be cooked medium. It came out well-done. My waitress--who was awesome--said she would get me a new one, which she did. When she went to the kitchen (which was right behind our seats), the chef was talking inappropriately and making fun of me and my friend. All I asked for was salt and pepper. The steak came back almost raw with barely any sauce to go with it. I paid over $75 for terrible food, and after the tip it came out to $100. The waitress, Tyanna, and the manager, Amy, were phenomenal and tried their best to make up for the kitchen's mistake, but I would never in my life recommend this place to anybody.

We decided to celebrate Valentine's Day a week ahead to avoid the rush. We chose Morton's for our dinner and once again they delivered! The service was fast and attentive! The food was fresh and delectable as always! Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to return. If you've never been to Morton's you're missing out on great food and a great experience!!

Good food, good atmosphere... they validate parking and are great from the front desk to the kitchen.

We ordered the food to go. I enjoyed my loaded baked potato and salad. I may not come back again but I did love the prompt service.

Rented the private room for a birthday dinner.. Service was great, fast, and hospitality was good.. Food was really good.. I had the lobster bisque soup, 6 grilled oysters and filet mignon w/ mashed potatoes and creamed spinach.. The manager David was really great and helpful with the process... The server was good.. Overall experience was amazing!

We were there celebrating our engagement, and they made it feel so special by decorating our table with rings and confetti to celebrate our love. Our server gave us so much attention and made the experience feel personal. Since it was our first time there, they took the time to walk us through some of the best items on and off the menu, and shared their favorite dishes. Everything was done with care. The restaurant was clean, the bathroom was amazing, and the food was worth every dollar. The short rib was so tender, and the New York strip was seasoned to perfection and cooked medium well just how we like it. The twice-baked potato loaded with bacon, sour cream, chives, and cheese was delicious, and the mac and cheese was so good. I also appreciated that they allowed me to order it without the roasted saltine crackers. I can't wait to visit again!

Bones has old money vibes - for example, the receptionist referred to us as Mr. and Ms. which I felt like was very polite and again, traditional. We were celebrating my birthday, and they pre-decorated our table a little bit! We got special print-out menus that said "Happy Birthday" and the table had a little bit of confetti on it! It was a nice gesture to be welcomed with. Our server, Michael, was great at being attentive (without being overly attentive), and providing recs/answering our questions. We went with the Crab and Lobster Napoleon for our app, the Ribeye to split, and a side of their famous Hash Browns. Everything was very good!! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but all the food comes out hot, fresh, and with good flavor. I really do recommend getting the Hash Browns - it sounds a little silly to order such a dish at a steakhouse, but try it for yourself :) All dishes have a good portion size so keep that in mind when ordering! While not pictured, I do have to give a shoutout to the complimentary bread service - their bread is real good. Hot and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. Try not to get full off the bread alone. For dessert, Bones surprised us with literally the tallest and thickest slice of ice cream cake I've ever seen! My jaw dropped. I love ice cream cake and it was awesome to be treated to some!! I already thought that the table decorations and the special menu were enough to recognize my birthday, but this is the generosity of Bones. I will absolutely be returning some day! If not for the amazing food, then for the equally amazing hospitality! Thank you Bones for a wonderful birthday! Note: Complimentary valet parking ONLY. We asked the valet person if we could just park the car but we weren't allowed to. Bring some cash for a tip.

Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

It did not disappoint - in fact, it exceeded my expectations. First of all, Ken was an excellent server. He was paced, attentive, informative, and communicative throughout our experience. We were also celebrating our anniversary, and he and the staff made sure to make the occasion memorable (won't give away to keep it special for you). The food was amazing from beginning to end. First, the bread service was prompt, warm, soft, and served with ricotta. Next, the Ceasar salad was made next to where we sat - and to see them mixing the salads so meticulously down to mixing the dressing from scratch was one of the most amazing dining experiences I've had. I love a good Ceasar - and this was amongst the best. We also ordered the Oysters Marcel - and they were so fresh and bright. For our main course, my wife ordered the bone-in filet. It was cooked to perfection (medium rare - medium). I enjoyed redfish topped with Jump Lump Crab Oscar sauce (with crabs). Both proteins were amazing, but I was surprised by how perfectly cooked the fish was. Delectable. For sides, we enjoyed Cream Corn Gratin and Pommes Frites Béarnaise . Both were complementary of the proteins. The dessert was a 10-Layer Chocolate Cake. It was sooo good. Sweet but not too sweet. Good as it looks. Lastly, the ambiance was amazing. It was like stepping into a portal into a different space in time - almost made you forget we were in Atlanta. It's a bit dark inside - but a well lit darkness - just like I like it. Easy to see the entire space but also feel unseen (even though you are). Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone - although we made a pact to not take anyone from our circle. We want to keep this one for us. But hopefully this write up encourages a stranger to enjoy Marcel. Merci

That world could be anywhere. It could even be in Midtown West Atlanta. Service was impeccable. Servers knew we were celebrating our anniversary and were attentive and helpful when making tough menu choices. Pacing was definitely geared toward fine dining. 40 minutes between starters and entree was a BIT long, but it went by. Steak was wonderful (a porterhouse for 2), cooked to a perfect medium rare with seasoning appropriately calibrated to not overpower. East and west coast oysters were fresh and the Marcel salad to start was underdressed and lacked flavor (I enjoyed how they plopped a mound of bleu cheese on top to mix in; I pushed this aside which my server and I laughed about. He said he'd do the same. Maybe it's a sign). Hot bread service with a spreadable cheese and prosciutto was a nice touch. The French fries are probably the best I've ever had, and the asparagus was asparagus (slightly undersalted if anything). Chocolate cake was impressive in presentation but unremarkable for flavor and consistency. My wife enjoyed her decaf coffee as the best she's had at a restaurant, but her cocktail left something to be desired and was extremely tart. A Mexican coke was perfect enough for me. The pricing here is exorbitant. The price tag isn't necessarily a problem given the caliber of dining experience and ambiance that Marcel provides, but given some of the misses on staple items (namesake salad, "famous" chocolate cake), I'm not sure that value for dollar spent is present. In transparency, our dinner comprised of the above was over $400 with tip, which was aligned with expectations walking in the door. Whether the food stood up to the actual place and pricing is a debate. I lean toward an answer of "almost, but close enough not to be insulted." If a gun was pointed at my head to pick the "best steakhouse" in Atlanta, I'd pick Bones without thinking twice. This place is a close second probably, but places like Nowaks in Sandy Springs, while not the same echelon of formality, might have Marcel beat on flavor and definitely have Marcel beat on value for the dollar. Is Marcel's concept valid and well executed? Yes, without question. Would I want somebody else to pay if I returned? Yes, without question. 4.3/5 stars

I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.

Our server , was quite nice , asked us what were celebrating and very welcoming. He gave us the daily specials and made recommendations. Think his name was Daryl. Great seating and a lil darker inside. We enjoyed our dinner and appetizers and the fellowship was superb. Definitely recommend. It's been a minute since I had dined here and will consider in the future.

Inside the bar is straight ahead to your right. The kitchen is open and visible from the seating area, giving a sense of transparency and feeling of home. Elegant tables arranged with plenty of space to move about lets you know they're more interested in your comfort than maximizing how many bodies they can cram into one big room. Excellent servers are watchful without being disruptive. I like to enjoy my meal without being pestered every few minutes. I ordered the Bone-in Ribeye (my go-to for any steakhouse) and was *NOT* disappointed Perfect temperature. Flawless execution. I could tell they allowed equal time to cook and rest before delivering it to me. Prices are reasonable for the culinary experience and the quality meal you receive. Thank me later. Go and enjoy a special night out tonight!
