I was doing my own lawn without problems until I traveled out of town for over a month in the…read moresummer and returned to a forest growing in my back yard. The front yard was doable but since the back yard had a rather steep slope I didn't want to attempt it armed with my flimsy weed whacker. I looked at various lawn service options and called The Lawn Ranger as his website looked professional and he offered a military discount. He comes out, takes a look at my lawn, and says "no thanks". Honestly, I was kind of shocked. He didn't even offer a price, just "no thanks" and he left. I guess business is really good. I called Bixler next. He came out, looked at the yard, and offered $75 for the first cut to clean everything up then $50 after that. I had already talked with friends in the area and knew that $50 was standard. DEAL. He and his team came out every 2 weeks on the nose and shaved my lawn - including that slope of a back yard - down to pretty green nubs. Grass or weeds it didn't matter, it all was green at that height. They also did a great job edging my driveway and blowing the errant mowed stuff off my back patio. I wish Bixler's Lawn Service all the success in the world. I know you'll still help people out and not just tell them "no thanks" because you're doing well... because you are doing well.
