They had a box fan for me to use because I forgot mine. I need good air circulation when I'm sleeping. Also, when my mother asked for extra extra coffee because she drinks approximately 8 cup in the morning, they weren't stingy about it. They gave her all she needed. -- 5 stars The rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean. No hairs of any kind in the bathroom or anywhere's else. -- 5 stars The beds are firm which isn't good for me. I am disabled due to a back injury and I had trouble sleeping. The next morning I was in so much pain due to the firm bed. Sadly, as much as I love how accommodating this hotel is, for this reason, I likely will not be staying here again. -- 1 star

The first room We were assigned AC did not work, we got moved. When requested the pool it was open but DIRTY! The bottom of the pool was nothing but mold and green water. A pool in such condition should NOT be "open" to guests. There was only two towels in the bathroom for shower, when we requested more so 4 of us could shower we were told there were no more towels! So basically don't book until renovations are done, they clean the pool and hopefully they get more towels.

He really cares about the guest experience. All the staff is warm and welcoming, which makes a huge difference. My king bed mattress was much more comfortable than other Sleep Inns I've stayed in on the east coast. The bed was perfectly made, clean, and fresh. In-room microwave and mini fridge were clean, modern, and worked well. The air conditioner is very, very effective. Well-lit and safe parking lot. Carpets are clean. Shower is much larger than other Sleep Inns I've stayed in. Unlike some hotels, all the A/C outlets worked, and I had plenty of convenient outlets to charge my iPhone, laptop, extra batteries, etc. Good lamp lighting and natural light from window. In-room wifi works well, and I was able to stream YouTube videos. They serve a free breakfast and even some dinner, but I was not available to check those out. My only notable wish is for nicer towels, as the towels were a bit thin and feel cheap. But the towels are clean and well-maintained. A great option for an affordable hotel near San Antonio.

I knew I'd have to pay a portion of the reservation. After all...I was cancelling at 3:15...it was a 4 day reservation over a holiday...and I had already arrived early and asked for a specific room...and yet Esmeralda was nothing but nice. She said she understood and quickly just cancelled the reservation. Which, I was surprised by. I was 100% prepared to pay a fee...but she just asked that we try them again in the future if our needs changed. What more could anyone ask for!?!? This is customer service and an employee deserving of recognition.

Last week a lady that works for me stayed there and found someone's dirty socks left by the bed. She went down and complained to the person behind the desk (JASON) and he got angry and gave her an attitude. I have had issues with him in the past but this is it.
