DO NOT EVER!!!!!!!! When we got here the room seem to be fine, the halls smelled like marijuana we were on the ground floor non smoking room. I asked my husband to get a few extra towels cause there were only two I wanted one on the floor next to the bed you could tell the floor wasn't very clean, and one on the floor outside the shower. I got our son in the shower the water wouldn't drain, water pressure was very low. Opened the towel to put around him there is hair (fresh towel) all over it, I open the second towel same thing thank the lord we found another towel in the caddy next to the sink and it was clean without hair. All three of us had to use the same dang towel cause they were all full of hair and gross. We crawl into bed at 11pm and smell men's cologne on the sheets. The sheets were not changed! They smelled like a man's cologne. We just went ahead and slept cause it was late as disturbing and cringy as it felt we tried to sleep the best we could. Got up in the morning to make us breakfast cause there is no complimentary breakfast like it said there would be on the booking site along with the pool being closed which we had planned to swim while we were here. There are roaches everywhere!!!!!!! I'm freaking out!!!!! I hope these don't crawl in my bag and come home with us. Lord help us! The hotel maid came by knocking on the door asking for towels so I opened the door and asked if we could have a manager she is eating food while talking to me, the manager comes across the hall and I explain all the things to which he turns and says well I cleaned the sheets myself I know they are clean...... I stared at him for a minute cause we ALL KNOW he did not touch these sheets! That's what the room service cleaning ladies are for!!!! I said sir the sheets were full of male cologne that definitely wasn't my husbands cologne. And he stood there smiling at me, I informed him about the towels having hair all over them he said oh well I can get you new towels (I said those were new towels) he asked if the cleaning lady could strip the bed I said yes please when she took the sheets off there were crumbs and hair all over the bed protector under the sheets!!!!!!! I told them about the roaches and they said it had to be the new refrigerator..... this refrigerator looks like it hasn't been moved in years! There is dirt and grim around the legs like they had attempted to mop..... if I could give this review absolutely ZERO stars I would!!! This is the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel! I am not usually the one to make posts like this and bash a place of business but they didn't even offer a different room he didn't apologize about our experience so far the only thing he did was lie about doing the sheets himself and tell me he could give me new sheets.... I am so disappointed and very unhappy with our stay!!!!! I will NEVER stay here again nor would I recommend this for ANYONE!!!! Still currently waiting for our bed to be remade since 10:30am it's now 12:32pm.... Some pictures of hair and crumbs I didn't get all the pictures of the hair on the towels it was late last night and was not thinking about blasting this place like this cause again this is not something I usually do. More than meets the eye and not in a good way. Upon walking in, the front desk attendant was nice. The entryway looked organized and clean. I thought maybe this won't be so bad afterall....boy was I WRONG!! I have never checked into a room and found dried piss on the toilet. Deplorable!! The mattress pad was stained, shower head broken, mini fridge and microwave was gross. Walls, doors, heat/cooling dirty and stained. The towels and wash clothes were dingy. Compared to the places in the same area, this would be the crack house. The parking lot lights were being worked on as I pulled up, otherwise it was pitch black. I have stayed in other Motel/Studio 6 and they were not nearly this bad. They ought to be ashamed of themselves operating like this. Te owner needs to care about the condition of their rooms and the staff needs to care about the work they do. The location isn't a bad place to stay in. Made a permanent move across country and stayed at Motel 6 the whole way because they were cheap and mostly because they accept pets. This one in Bossier City was by far the worst of all the ones I stayed in. Curtains barely hung on the windows. Room smelled. Cracked mirrors. Sink held up by a 2x4. Holes punched in wall. Exhaust fan in bathroom and outlet plugs coming out of the wall. Dirty stained walls. 2 homeless no teeth women asleep in the lobby. No refunds after check in! Really sad that the corporation doesn't keep tabs on this sort of thing. Oh, and I found out later there is no internet or cable!!! read more

We staying 6 motel on Rasberry lane in Shreveport No 1 towel 2 people and it is dirty. Gave us hand towel to dry off on. No dryers .

These are photos taken as soon as we walked into the room. On another occasion, the heater didn't work. It was January, and we were told to go buy a space heater because maintenance had already turned in for the night (they live on property). There is no pool. Just a hole in the ground with a "pool closed" sign on the gate, just so you know before thinking you might go for a swim during your stay. read more

Only left a star so I could leave a review. This place is straight trash. Definitely don't pay with a credit card. They'll keep your number and charge you later, even though you haven't authorized it. I made the mistake of trying to help someone and this hotel manager took it upon himself to charge me far after the days I had agreed to pay for! the elevator is "broken" but they were able to bring it down so I could go up. it smelled like someone was hotboxing in there. got here desperately needing to shower after a long trip& only had one hand towel to use. the sink is stopped up. stained and holey bedding. toilet doesn't flush all the way. electrical boxes-while there are wire caps on the wires, they're dangling out of the wall. either a significant case of domestic violence was occurring 2 rooms down or some really uncensored sex was occurring. night stand and tv stand broken. fridge was gross. didn't even let our dog sleep in the floor because it was so disgusting. shower handle broken. would like a refund but im tired. read more

It's not all bad: they've got the new laminate floors (infinitely less gross than carpet), the parking lot is well-lit, and the wifi, fridge, and microwave all worked. Like every Motel 6, they were happy to give our baby puppy children a place to stay. On the other hand, they still have that unfortunate adjoining-rooms-separated-by-a-wooden-door bit going on, so smoke crept under the door and music noise happily travelled through it. They fulfilled the Louisiana state minimum by providing one live cockroach upon entry to the room, the shower was a freezing drizzle that I abandoned lest it take 20 minutes to rinse the shampoo from my hair, and the room was serviced so poorly that we found presciption pills loitering under one of the several pieces of furniture that had never been pulled out nor cleaned under. Also, when replacing the floors, they might have also gotten rid of the armchair that had been in the room since 1987 and only partially cleaned after someone had clearly been stabbed to death in it. I have seen newer and more attractive furnishings next to empty kegs on the porches of frat houses. It seemed lifted from a postapocalyptic video game like Fallout or Infamous. So, this still might be an alright stop if you aren't demanding--the bed was fine and the room was okay aside from the above. But caveat emptor, and all. read more

Suitable, but not very glamorous, Motel 6. Friendly front desk staff and plenty of well-lit parking. Waffle House down the street. The room could have been cleaner (and had weird stains on the wall). Called late on a Saturday night. A gentleman by the name of Peter answered the phone promptly, even though it's a busy night for hotels. I asked if they had vacancies, he said yes. He asked when I'd expect to arrive, I told him that I was just around the corner... so he said come on down. At this point I mentioned that I was driving a large moving truck (26') and was pulling a car, so I asked if he had parking for oversized vehicles - again the answer was yes. I love it when the answer is always "Yes!" Once I pulled up to the property, it looked a bit full and it being late at night, I was unsure if I should pull in. Then I noticed a man that came out of the main entrance and was waving at me... it was Peter. He came out, phone in hand (in case someone tries calling the hotel) and showed me where I could park and on top of that he even stayed to help me back in! This took a few minutes of course, and he had to run back to the office but then came out a second time to get me into my spot safely. When I came out of the truck he greeted me and said that he will be at the front desk to check me in. TALK ABOUT SERVICE!!! Once I got inside, he got me into a great room within a matter of minutes and I finally got some well deserved rest. Motel 6's from my experiences have been pretty good for the most part. Unexpected trip to Shreveport and upon arrival we find out there were several graduations and other festivities going on which resulted in us staying here. The outer appearance seemed to be OK the lobby looked OK so I thought maybe I'll survive the night as I'm truly not a fan of the Motel 6 brand. We get to our double bed room, and I then realized why I haven't stayed at a Motel 6 in probably 20 years. The beds were outdated, lights didn't fully work, but I could tell they have done a few renovations but definitely not enough. We noticed there were no wash clothes in the room so we go to the front desk and were told we'd have to bring the used wash clothes to the desk before we could be given new ones lol how so when we don't have any sir (we just went down to Walmart and purchased our own towels). The curtain was dusty and partially hung, toilet paper dispenser barely hanging on, shower head rusty and spraying all over the place, tub looked as if it had not been cleaned in several stays (thank God we purchased bleach spray while at Walmart) but my mom asked me to make the best of the situation. After we basically made ready our own room we were OK until my grandson drops his cup and it rolls under the bed. OMG I was completely disgusted. I went to the front desk and complained and the young man points to the sign that reads, "no refunds given after check in" I'm not asking for a refund and thank goodness we're about to check out. Needless to say next time I will drive into Bossier City if there's no other option. read more

Booked a non smoking room.. Got a smoking room.. Comforter was full of burn holes.. Pulled back cover and several pubic hairs.. Was in bed... No hot water for shower or tub.. This is the second worst Motel6 o have ever stayed in. Ok, so the arrival: there are extra bathtubs (that apparently aren't being used) stored in the lobby area in front of an unused fireplace, accompanied by a goodwill reject sofa. (Seriously. I think I saw goodwill try to set it on fire.) The room: half the lights didn't work, and that's likely by design, since if they all worked you could see how horrible the place is. The toilet hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long and the bathtub looks like it's growing ....something. Ew. One washcloth, threadbare sheets, paper thin pillows and for a king bed, we get all of 3. That's it. Literally no lamps in here, no extra lighting other than the one working, and two burned out recessed lights. And that switch is on the other side of the room. Great. So the side doors don't lock (and in this neighborhood?? Really??) and there are so. Many. Rules. You have to pay for damages by you or your personal guests (well, isn't this a rule everywhere? Why feel the need to post it? Directly above the following rule....brace yourself) No personal guests. $250 fine. But...the above rule...huh...go figure. Also clean up after your pets or....you guessed it! $250 fine. So in conclusion, sleep under a bridge before you sleep here. Not sure if I didn't catch the cooties from being here. Ew...gotta take a shower in bleach when I get home.... read more

If I could give this motel a 0 I most definitely would. We walked into our non smoking room with a burn hole on our bed, a dirty towel in our shower, and a USED CONDOM near the a/c unit. I went back down stairs and the front desk told me I will have to call manager another day. I called the manager and he yelled at me on the phone saying "go somewhere else with your scam, get out of here" and hung up on me twice. Booked this hotel on Hotwire for 4 adults, when I got to the hotel to check in they initially wanted to upcharge me because what I paid wasn't their rate (yeah uh no that's why I booked on Hotwire). then they asked if we had pets and I informed them that I didn't have a pet but I had a service dog and that she is not considered a pet but a Medical device and that I could not be restricted to a pet room. They just could not grasp the concept that's service animal is not a pet. The woman at the front desk says "it's a dog right? So it's a pet" no ma'am for about the 100th time a service dog is not a pet. Then Mike who is either a manager or owner had to be called over and he wanted to argue as well that he knew service animal laws and obviously had no clue. He did inform me that Motel 6s policy was all pets go on the second floor, which is good information to have but once again I don't have a pet with me. Had it not been for the fact that it was about 11 pm and the room was already paid for I absolutely would not have stayed there and probably will skip all Motel 6s in the future. read more

My husband and I wanted to attend the Red River Balloon Rally and booked this Motel 6 in Shreveport LA for the competitive price and the fact that pets were welcome and stay for no additional fee. We planned our trip to meet my daughter and stay for the weekend knowing that we would be able to leave our 4 lb dog in the room while we attended the festival, went to dinner and planned activities for the second day before we all returned home. Well, after we drove 3.5 hours and arrived to check in we shared with the desk clerk that we did not want room service during our stay because we did not want our dog stressed by an unknown visitor to the room and the possibility of the dog escaping the room. We were told that their policy was no pet could be left unattended in the room. We ask if we provided a pet carrier if that type of containment would suffice because with temperatures in the mid 90's there is no way our little dog could survive in the car or in the heat in our arms all day. This meant that we could not visit any of the attractions during our planned trip or even eat out a meal except for fast food drive thru during our stay. We stayed one night and basically cancelled all our plans and checked out the next morning and drove the 3.5 hours back home. Our weekend was ruined. It's not enough to say you are pet friendly. You must put your additional pet policy information on your website. I know we should have called to confirm but we have never had any other problems with our dog staying in our room at a Motel 6. I'm posting this to warn other pet owners so they don't experience the same heartbreak that we suffered. read more

The staff were very rude. The elevators were out which they did not inform us about until after we paid. The front desk man saw us walking with all of our bag walked us to the stairs and left. Never asked to help what so ever and they weren't busy we were the only ones in the lobby. They had a total of 3 people behind the desk and no one offered. The room next to us came to their room at 2 in the morning under the influence of something yelling and slamming doors. This went on for 2 and a half hours at least! The police finally showed up. The next morning I went down to talk to the front desk the man said these kind of things happen when the hotel is booked. I told him it doesn't and I know that for a fact! He pretty much didn't care and said I could talk to the GM in the morning. Monday morning I call and talked to JP and from the start he had an attuide and told me I wasnt going to get anything out of him. He didnt even care to hear what I had to say. Every time I would talk he would interrupt me. Next I called the 800 number and talked to a very nice lady and she took my statement down and said she would pass it along. They would do an investigation into the matter because that was not the company way. She then let me know that the hotel we stayed at was independenly owned and all they could do was give them fines. We travel a lot for sports and I don't see us staying in another Motel 6. I understand its independently owned but when all that will be done is some fines given that doesnt mean too much to me. We have kids and did not feel safe at all. We were up Sunday morning at 2am because of this whole mess. Out of everyone I talked to one person sounded like she cared. read more

We stay at motel 6 on diamejack Blvd in bosser city la it was the most dirty room dirty beding .toilet did not work right .tv did not work .couch was all stained up dirty everything we stayed one night and that was the second room they have gave us on are frist night there after driveing 17 hours but we paid for three nights the main door to our room did not shut right at all l will never stay there again.
