My porterhouse with mushroom sauce was well cooked - right mix of pink - but very ordinarily presented. The accompanying salad was awful. But, I was hungry and I ate most of it. Not great or inspiring, but certain acceptable. I'm visiting and I'm not going back though.

These are the best hosts, so considerate and attentive! 2. Breakfast included. The two of us each had homemade granola with yogurt and fresh fruit for breakfast -- and then a pot of tea (for me) and a flat white (for him) each day. Gorgeous! 3. Amazing location. A block away from downtown and centrally located for going to the wineries. We bicycled some days, drove others. A five-minute walk to the visitor center. 4. Beautiful place. Comfortable bed and a wood-paneled room that reminded me of an executive room I once stayed at that went for $10K a night. We had breakfast outside on the verandah each morning, didn't want to leave. 5. All the little touches - dessert wine, mini fridge, selection of tea in the room, wifi included (shocked at how many AirBnBs and motels did not have wifi and yet cost as much or more!), lovely shower. And all this at a terrific value. The price was so reasonable for what could have been easily double the price. We will be back, and look at having a family get-together here.
