You can see the food being prepared which immediately welcomes you into the cosy restaurant. A family run business with fantastically friendly and polite people that cannot do anything but help you with whatever you need. Nothing is too much trouble. Prices are very reasonable and there is a wide range of home cooked food. They also have a licence so you can even have a tipple with your meal. Certainly a restaurant well worth a visit.

When we arrived, the restaurant was about half full which is usual for a Saturday evening. We sat down ordered our drinks and food which arrived swiftly. Unfortunately, that's where the good experience ended. After we'd finished our meals, we sat for 45 minutes waiting for our table to be cleared. We tried to get the attention of the servers but we were constantly ignored and our table was avoided. There was no communication as to when someone could clear our table or when we would be offered the dessert menu. After 45 minutes my Dad took our plates up to the food counter and said he understood they were busy but we didn't want the plates on the table. The person who served us came over to my Dad was extremely rude, said he was 'really busy' and 'he would get to us when he could' in a stroppy and sarcastic tone. The server then proceeded to throw our plates, knives and forks. Then one of the chefs came over and said 'we are really busy' in a condescending tone. Obviously we were aware they were busy but we were extremely patient waiting for 45 minutes waiting for our table to be cleared without any communication and the severs ignoring us. After these two altercations with the staff, we decided to leave. When we were paying, the person who served us was once again extremely rude and when he found out we weren't leaving him a tip for his appalling service he told us never to return again. After the experience we had today, we will never be returning to this restaurant and suggest you spend your money elsewhere.
