It is a small store but it is wall to wall with clothes for every size and event. They have swim suits, formal dresses, graphic t-shirts, shorts, pants, and even nursing bras. They also have a dressing room to try things on. The owner said she relocated from the flea market about a month ago and what is on the floor is only a fraction of what she has in stock, which is already a lot. Torrid carries everything from bras, panties, stockings and shoes, right on up to scarves, belts and other accessories. My finds in store are great, but if it's not in the store, the website will have it! Besides the clothes that actually fit, I love the changing rooms! They're spacious, well lit and they have fans to keep you cool! There are huge mirrors, better than adequate seating and helpful salespeople write your name on the door when you go in. If I wanted my funky and edgy curvy fashion I would have to do whatever it takes to have it. I love Torrid because they really have clothes that fit the curvy and plus body well. They aren't afraid to give us current trends while giving some edge. Shoes are offered in large sizes and widths. The employees I met at the grand opening were awesome even with the amount of people there. Every single woman shared in my excitement of their arrival. While there are other plus stores in the area, I can see myself at Torrid at least once a week. Thank you Torrid for coming to Augusta. I don't think Mister's happy watching his money walking out the door though!
